Player check in on Thursday, September 15th is being held at 4 Hands Brewery (1220 S 8th St, St. Louis, MO 63104) this year and we are extremely excited to work with them to bring you the best player check in experience possible.
4 Hands has been supporting disc golf in our area recently and it’s super exciting to see! All STLO Competitors will receive a wristband which entitles you to $1 off pints all day on September 15th. With using 4 Hands for a venue, there are a couple of challenges that present themselves, primarily parking related to the Cardinals game that evening. So, we’ve gotten creative and the team at 4 Hands has been super accommodating to develop a plan to ensure a smooth player experience.
With the Cardinals game and the traffic that brings, check in will be available for two windows:
12 PM – 5 PM
&
7 PM – 9:30 PM
We will take a shut down for a couple of hours and allow 4 Hands the space they need to handle the baseball game traffic. It will be significantly busier during the second window at 4 Hands and parking will be more difficult.
There will be a player only parking lot for those of you who would like to grab a beverage after receiving your player pack, but the lot isn't quite large enough for all of us, so it could be tough to find a spot later.
Player check in will be a drive through process where you will pick up your player pack and then have the option to grab parking and hang out a while, or feel free to be on your way.
Dark Ace will be running a Pros vs. Joes Putting Competition Qualifier at 4 Hands in the brewery and the Championships will be held at Logan University at the Player Party where we’ll have live music, food, and fun. They also will be running a random draw doubles on Friday night at Endicott!
Your course guides have been attached to this email (separated by pool) and after registration closes Tuesday, we'll set and send out tee times on Wednesday.
