After a quick spritz of rain 21 players took to the skies for Deer Lakes League this week. Brendan Reed shot the hot score on the week to take down the Open division with a -11, 55 for an unofficial 1013 rated round, his highest ever. Sam Wilson dominated the Advanced division with a -5, 61 while Hank Lilienthal took down Intermediate with a -1, 65. Keith Moquin eked out the win in Recreational with a +2, 68. Savannah Filander and Mary Ellen Moeller battled it out in Recreational Women with Savannah besting Mary Ellen by 5 strokes for the win.
No aces or albatrosses and no on hit the birdie pots, so those are building up again nicely. Brendan Reed won the CTP for his 2nd shot on hole 18 for the Open/Adv. divisions for $7, while Keith Moquin got it for the other divisions for $11.
Next week we will be travelling out to North Boundary for our first ever travel week on Labor Day in anticipation of the Butler County Disc Golf Classic. More details will come out tomorrow. Hope to see everyone out there!
