I tried once with United, it was like $125 each way circa 2018. Since then, it was easier to (pre-arrange with hotel staff) to package it up and pre-ship it to the hotel I was going to stay at ahead of arrival via Mail-it-all (UPS etc). The catch is, keep enough time on the backend to make it to a staples to ship it back home. Much easier than lugging it into/out of airport. Just remember to pack scissors and packing tape and have a ready to go shipping label for the return shipment. Not a bad way to go, just takes a little forethought
Charlotte Christensen Jun 7, 2022When I flew to USWDGC last year I took my Rovic as checked equipment on Delta and had no issues. A friend booked our tickets and she gets two free checked bags per person so I'm not sure about cost.
Bryan Pyle Jun 8, 2022I have taken the wheels off my All-Terrain and fit it in a suitcase. It works just fine. You can keep it loaded with discs or pack other things in it. All said and done mine didn't weigh over 50lbs.
Nate Heinold Jun 8, 2022I have successfully taken a the wheels off and put an All Terrain into a checked bag. Worked great!
