Hey Eric, quick OB clarification. On hole 2, is everything short of the path in bounds, meaning discs must be played from their lie? Or is there an option to proceed to the drop zone (shooting 3) if a drive is short of the path?
I also was wondering that. At Falling Barn last year one of my cards interpreted that short of the path was OB and other interpreted that it was fair game.
Great question. The OB starts on the far side of the path and is shaped like a keyhole, so yes if you land short of the path you are still in bounds. You are eligible to abandon your throw and proceed to the DZ per PDGA guidelines found here. https://www.pdga.com/rules/official-rules-disc-golf/80901

So if your tee shot is short and atrocious you can go to the DZ to shoot your 4th or go back to the tee to shoot your 3rd?
You have the option of re-teeing for 3, or shooting from the DZ for 3.
