We have heard from the city regarding Cascades Gateway Disc Golf Course. Unfortunately, it isn't good news for now. There are no exact dates as to when the park will reopen. It currently appears it won't be until early summer. They are getting cost estimates and scheduling contracts right now for repairs that need to be completed.
As an additional note, camps keep popping back up on the course due to the proximity to Church at the Park. Until SPD can keep up with the camps and the Church helps with keeping the area clear the city is unable to sanction a work party for the community.
So there is the update from the city. They know we are willing and ready to get working out there but for now, we can't until they authorize it.
