Hello everyone,
After some discussion we have decided to make The Forest Fling a two day event this year, with amateur divisions playing on Saturday, May 28th, and professional divisions playing on Sunday, May 29th. We discussed a number of possible scenarios and took into consideration the feedback we received from many of you, and decided that this is the most logical way to go about things this year. One possible option was to hold two rounds on Saturday with tee times for both rounds, and then one final round on Sunday, also with tee times. The other option was to split the event and have each division play two rounds on one of the days, which is ultimately what we decided on. Registration for both days will now open on Friday, April 22nd at 7:00 pm. Amateurs who wish to play on Sunday may register as full participants ($60, eligible to receive cash) or as "trophy-only" by selecting the "GENERAL" division when registering. Trophy-only players will pay $25 to play and their net entries will go into the pro payout for whatever division they compete in, and they are not eligible to receive cash.
