There is a chance you may have to move up and then later in the year your rating drops and could move back down. If you take a 50% point cut on the way up do you still lose all your points on the way down? Asking for a friend.
I read the rules John. Just didn't think it was fair to the people on the bubble but thanks for clarifying the obvious. Hope you stay away from the edge so it doesn't bite you too my friend..

If my rating goes above 900, I cannot play in the same division in the next event than I will play in Fraction Run event. I will lose half my series points if I play in another series event until my rating drops below 900. So if my rating goes to 901, I must move to AM40 and lose half my points. Half way through the year, I drop below 900, I must now still play against the MA40 class in this series or start back at zero points in the MA50 group where I started the series. Just a snafu in the rules for people like me. I'm here for the fun so it isn't a deal breaker to play in this series. Have great summer and I hope to see you out there.
I was thinking that if I dropped back down mid-season, that I would be re-instated my full original earned points and would take all (or only a portion of) my upper division point back down with me. Just me thinking out loud again. Pay no attention to the old man in the corner.
I won't ever have to worry about being on the bubble. Even if I were to play in say MA40 I wouldn't have to worry about taking any points with me back down to MA4, since you don't get any points for last! LOL
Points will not be allowed to move down.
Thanks John

Why not just play MP50 and be done with it?
Sorry Chris. They don't call me captian obvious for no reason. Haha.
