If my rating happens to go up above 935 by tournament time, and I get in from the waitlist will I still be able to switch to AM1? I’ve already registered for AM2 but just thought of this possibility.

I’m in no ways affiliated with the staff at Ledgestone but I’m 99.9% sure if your rating goes above 935 you’ll end up at the back of the line for MA1.

Unless you can switch with someone in that division

Nate Singer   February 16, 2022 at 9:19pm

What if I switch now will I keep my spot on the waitlist?

Nate Singer   February 16, 2022 at 9:20pm

Maybe Nate can help answer these questions or someone with the tourney?

Todd Scorza   February 16, 2022 at 9:45pm

My guess is that if you switch now, you will be at the back of the waitlist, but I am in no way affiliated with the event staff.

Thanks Todd. That helps some but still not a definite answer if I switch now. It’d be a bummer to switch and then be put in the back of the waitlist :( I’d rather take the chance at that point that my rating will not go 5 points higher than the division. But again, if I can switch now and keep my waitlist spot I will. So maybe someone could still answer that...

If you switch now, you would go to the back of the waitlist.

Nate Singer   February 16, 2022 at 10:31pm

Ok thanks for clarifying Nate

Will Cromer   February 17, 2022 at 3:02pm

Would we be allowed to switch divisions and not be put on the waitlist if we find someone to switch with?

Nate Heinold   February 17, 2022 at 3:19pm

Yes
