Our friend Tommy Walker is making plans for a trip to South America and will be taking plastic to help support the growth of Disc Golf during his visit. He has traveled before and we have sent a good amount of stuff with him. We would LOVE to help support his efforts this time as well.
I mentioned this to a few of you this week, so consider this a more formal announcement to the group as a whole. Bring any used (preferably not abused discs) to league and donate to support this cause. If that was not reason enough, Tommy dropped off a new backpack style bag. Perhaps we could raffle this off to support the efforts....or maybe raffle it among those that donate discs. Plenty of options....but the point remains the same, to help support the growth of disc golf abroad.
