Wet Conditions - Prepare
OK, the day we have waited for. League is scheduled to start this evening.
We have poor weather conditions to start out. Course will be wet, likely standing water in some areas. Please be prepared.
It is supposed the rain much of the day. Right now, that looks like all that we have coming our way. If conditions are dangerous (lightning and such) we will need to cancel to keep everyone safe.
As of this moment, I expect to be able to play the round this evening. If we will cancel, another post will be made here and aim to make that determination by 4 or 5pm this afternoon.
What about flooding at the course
Good question. Assuming this is a honest inquiry, we typically have one or maybe two holes that may be impacted with this kind substantial/steady amount of rain. We will adjust if needed by using alternate tee pads if any happen to be underwater or unplayable. In an extreme case, we may need to omit a hole from the round/rotation.
