Damn, a 921 rated player in the intermediate? He'd be top 4 in advanced, that doesn't seem fair at all. What's up with this?

The 921-rated player is in the correct division. Most of the players registered for Advanced in this tournament should normally register for Intermediate, and most of the people registered for Intermediate should normally register for Recreational. The registrant pool in total for this tournament is lower rated than normal, and there's no rec division and limited space in each division, so this weird skewing is kind of to be expected. The 921 player is still well within intermediate range; moreover, they've only played in 1 tournament, so that rating is from a sample size of 1--meaning they're still figuring out what division they feel comfortable playing in.
