Mixed Doubles Teams,
Labor Day is almost upon us, and that means Mixed Doubles at Hawk's Landing!
Check-in will run from 8:30 - 9:40 AM, with a player meeting at around 9:45 and a tee-off by 10.
We should be finished by around 3PM (remember the second round goes rally quick since each foursome is only playing two discs instead of four as in best throw.)
We'll play Modified Best Throw (cannot use one partners tee shots more than 2x in a row) in the first round and Modified Alternate Throw (women tee on all odd # holes/men tee on the evens) in the second round after a fun pot luck lunch.
I'll be reviewing the tee assignments, and looking at player ratings tonight and may modify some assignments if necessary.
FTR - Advanced men belong on the Blue tees for this one, and the only men using Red tees should be true Novices; Int & Rec men should be at whites.
For the ladies, only true Pro and Advanced women should be at Whites, all others should be at Reds.
The object here is to make it as fair as possible to all so each team is competitive. Ideally we'll have a 19-team sudden-death playoff. :)
I'll post a payout table ASAP.
