Tee Times: Go to PDGA.com and search event The August Heat. Your tee time will be listed next to your name.
Day of Event: Tournament central will be at the bench area by the tee of hole 9. AM Players Packs, Trophies, prize packs and Raffle will be at this location! All Amateurs can pick up there players pack at anytime. There is no need to check in before your tee time, you will get a paper score card at hole 1 at your tee time. Someone in every group will have to enter live scoring. Pdga.com/score psswd: heat2021
-Social Distancing should be practiced and DO NOT come to the event if you have COVID symptoms, these can be looked up on the CDC website if you are unsure.
-Practice rounds can be played the week before the event, no practice rounds can be played the day of the event. The practice baskets won’t be available as they are to close to other holes that will be played in the event.
Payout Schedule: After your division is complete on Sunday the payouts and trophies will be given out. There will be no awards ceremony after the event because of social distancing.
OB’s: Two meter rule is in effect and the use of all PDGA rules and guide1[]=lines, this includes No audible music.
Please be aware of park users and do not throw when a person is in your flight line!
Outside of the park (over the fence or sidewalk), Inside the tennis courts, inside the pickle ball court, inside the soccer field are all OB. Hole 15 beyond the white stakes on the right of the fairway is OB. Pond and all Creek and beyond are OB. The spillway on hole 16 is that is marked with feathers and white stakes is OB. If you are across any part of the creek that is beyond the creek – islands of land in the middle of the creek(s) are OB. The drainage ditch beyond and to the left of hole 17 is casual. MANDO’s on hole 5, 9, and 18 are shoot to the left of the tree with the mando sign and re-tee if the mando is missed. Hole 7, shoot to the right of the tree with the sign and re-tee if the mando is missed. Hole 11 mando is not in affect for this tournament. If you have any discrepancies or questions that can’t be solved within your group, shoot a provisional and bring the issue to the tournament director (Richard Poplin).
