Baskets at Hickory have been moved into the White Course layout. Tee signs are updated to reflect the changes. Be on the lookout for arrows to help navigate the course. Hole 1 of the White Course is the same tee as Original 2/South 3. After playing down Swede (Hole 17), take a right to get to 18’s tee. The exit path is up the hill to the right of the power pole. Check out UDisc for digital scorecard and updated map. Thanks to everyone that helped make this happen. We hope everyone enjoys playing some of the classic Hickory holes.
So, is the White Course taking over the South Course or what?
No, we brought back some old holes to make a different layout. White and South share a few holes, but some of the South holes do not have baskets at this time since a few baskets were moved.
I’m confused. So is this white course a completely new course? Is it the new North course that was supposed to be down this summer that Mark was saying wouldn’t be done by August because the city was dragging their feet? Or just some new holes added to the South course, or what exactly? And if it has new holes, then what happened to the old holes that were part of the South course?

The White Course is 14 of the original holes, plus a couple of the “South” holes. Some of the White Course holes were planned for the North layout, but there’s nothing happening with that right now. Rather than wait an unknown amount of time to play those holes again, we moved baskets for our upcoming event to play as much of “old” Hickory as possible. A few of the South holes aren’t being used right now, but will be playable again in the future.
Just played the White course today.... UN REAL! Best disc golf course I’ve ever played. So much work put into this new rework of the course and in a few years should be world class! Thanks to everyone who has worked so hard to make this course a reality! A+
Still confused. Disc Golf Course Review shows Hickory Hills as having two active 18 hole courses. Blue and White. We are heading up there next weekend. Are there two courses? If not, maybe someone local can clarify that on DGCR and here. Thanks for any input and the hard work on the course. We look forward to revisiting some of our favorite TC area tracks.
Only the White Course is playable at this time.
