There were 16 competitors in the MPO 65+, and through no fault of all of us, one drops out. Seeming to put us under that "magical" number of 16 needed for a Semifinal round in our division. What is the rationale for limiting us in such a way (other than an arbitrary rule), when it takes no extra time or effort to have a semi? Which would have happened originally anyway. Many folks are traveling significant miles, spending significant amounts of money and time for what is the "world championships". Limiting competition seems like a step in the wrong direction. I will also plug the Women's division as well in their efforts to have a semi. Same issues and concerns. I know the answer will be "see the course schedule". In no way does that really solve the problem.
