Just a curious question, does the dgpt profit the 40,000 they rake in from vip and parking? Or do they add that to the payouts?

just my opinion - there are very few players, disc companies and tournament directors (and casual players) involved in disc golf that are making more cash than barely necessary to survive and grow the sport as we've all witnessed in just the past 12 years or so. Whatever profits DGPT/PDGA/MDGO/DISCRAFT/INNOVA/PRODIGY/MVP/KCMO/CALIFORNIA/TERRYMILLER and many others, they deserve.......

Jim, do you ask your grocery store, your bank, or your doctor the same question? It's none of your business actually.

Welcome back pete

As a 11 year member of the pdga i think it is my business Pete. It was just a honest question.

DGPT is a business completely separate from the PDGA. Your PDGA membership doesn't give you any special access to the accounting or business plans of the DGPT. Just like you don't have special access to that information at your grocery store, bank, or doctor's office. It's just that simply really.

Like i said pete, it was a curious question. Well atleast they have some really cool shirts for the event staff. Thats a good way to grow the sport. I would think with profits like that they could atleast pay the winner 10 grand for elite events. Or pay out a little deeper into the field. Well done mediator!! What position do you hold with the DGPT ?
