Highlighted League of the Week. Double Points Day!

33 Players attended church on this heated sunday to shoot 18 holes Odd Long. Of them were 5 new members. We welcome Drew Herron, Michael Sandusky, Trevor Edman, Wade Gerysban and Chris Dunkel.

There was a tie at -11 with each team carding an ace for the top spot.

7/16/17

A Sweltering high humid long tee round. 21 players sweated out our church session led by Father Foz.

Hepler & Skip fairedthe best in the heat with a great -9 for 1st.
KP & Cullen hot on their heels at -8 for 2nd.
Just one stroke further were Lynch & Magic -7 for 3rd
And Staying just cool enough were Steiner & Rob S. -4 for 4th.

7/9/17

Good turn out for mass, 26 players and as you know two cali so we don't have 6 on a card. It was a nice day. Ypsi dubs welcomes 5 new members: Jen Trombley, Liz Seixas, Gary Caldwell, Sean McCoy, and Mike Sandeski.

Carding a -14 to take first were Rob D / Sean McCoy
2nd at -12 the Danny's
A three way tie at -11 rounded out the cash, where the two cali's prevailed with 3rd won by Ken S. and 4th to Crouch.

A beautiful morning brought 25 members out to church. A couple new faces and some who haven't been out in awhile. Welcome Chris and Tommy Russell.

Topping the field who played even longs at -12 were Skip and Burke.
2nd at -10 Ben C. and Cody V.
3rd at -9 Brett and Chilly.
4th at -8 BMac and Puttin Tom.

17 folks made it out on a beauty of a day.
Ypsi dubs gained Five new members! Welcome Cole Ronald, Ray Fisher, Fred Hoxey, Adam Zielinski, and Jason Heavlin!

We played odd longs.
Wheeling and Chilly laid down a nice round for first at -11
A tie for second at -8 splitting the cash for 2nd and 3rd were Ben C./Fred Hoxer and Framo (Cali)

We 22 players like it hot hot hot! The breeze helped us from over heating.
1st - PB / Fifer with a hot -15
2nd - Chilly keepin cool at -14
3rd - Skip / Kieth Vance hot on the heels at -13
4th - Ben C / Rico sweating out the shoot out win for -12

It was a nice morning with the early summer heat. 17 players came out for Church to play 18 longs.

Followed by a tie at a respectable -7 between Cody V. / Chilly & Jubjub / Alex Rule to which the teams split 2nd and 3rd.

After a short delay, 15 braved the post rain conditions.
Ben and Framo carded the 1st place score at -15. Three strokes back was a tie (-12). which led to Danny and Bennett taking 2nd, thus Wheeling & Cody V taking 3rd.

We had 35 players come out for dubs this past sunday.
Paid out top six teams
Congrats to Framo for the ace ($405) which put he and Rob in a tie for first place. Alex and Nate W. won that shoot out to take the top cash. Then KP and Bernard took third. Followed up with a three way tie that led to a shootout which Jay B and Scott won. Burke and Rich T got 5th and last but not least M Ellis and Xavier.

Two more holes mowed today - 5 mowed in total this week. Waiting to hear if the front half of the field is still in play for the course but 6 of the 12 are looking good. 3 more rough cut - two need lots of work. Hoping to hear back on ETA for baskets

Just wanted to say Thanks for all those who gave up a few hours of their time Saturday. We made progress on two holes after walking and surveying the planned 12 holes.

Great to see everyone - Felt like I really got to know everyone well. Look forward to seeing you out again soon. Need to finish the holes before the baskets arrive this summer.

Again thanks to all who help. Those who could not make it we were thinking of you. Hope you can join next time.

Ypsi Dubs ~={CHURCH}=~: New Holes - Sat at 11:00

Several have asked about joining to help with the new holes. We will be working this Saturday on the 12 holes on the north side of the existing course. No tools needed - mainly moving cut brush and planning Tee pad placement on several holes. Meet at main parking lot - Hole 1 starting at 11:00.
