The WDGC Winter Handicap League at Willamette Park starts February 9 and runs through March 30. Every Saturday at 10 AM, rain or shine, it's going down. The first two weeks you play is only $1 for club while you set handicap, and $1 for ace pot if you want in. Then it is $5 per week, paying out $4 of it, plus the $1 ace pot, with occasional CTP. The WDGC Winter Handicap League at Willamette Park starts February 9 and runs through March 30. Every Saturday at 10 AM, rain or shine, it's going down. The first two weeks you play is only $1 for club while you set handicap, and $1 for ace pot if you want in. Then it is $5 per week, paying out $4 of it, plus the $1 ace pot, with occasional CTP.

Handicap format is singles where player gets 84% of the value of their calculated handicap. Scratch scoring average is also taken into in order to adjust handicaps to the league. Both of these adjustments make it so that a more consistent player, such as the higher rated players tend to be, can still win by playing at their average, but anyone can still win by playing better than average.

Also running points series. 1 point just for showing up, and then 5 points will be distributed to the top 5 adjusted scores each week. Prize for the series points winner TBD, but I promise it will be good.

As well, this is a weekly bag tag event for those that have them, and they will be available for sale. Bag tags will be distributed based on scratch scores.
