League Recap

I did not get a chance last night as it was a little crazy getting everything going, so I would like to do it now.
I sincerely appreciate all of you not only coming out last night, but for each week of league during the fall and winter. We certainly had our share of cold and windy nights, but we all made the best of it. I am honored that you keep coming out each week and hope that you enjoy participating in WC Glow.....as always, feedback is welcomed on how I can improve your experience.

Glow tonight

Getting close to the end of the league season. Chilly tonight, mid to high teens and a little wind in the forecast. Good news is that warmer temps are on the horizon starting this weekend. See you all this evening.

Glow Feb 4th

Big thank you to all that came out on this past Wednesday. Fun round with CTPs available on every hole. Great scoring (no team was less than -10).

LE Discs available

Have some LE discs I picked up on Saturday. Have a few ESP Glow Buzzz and ESP Banger(that's right, ESP plastic). From what I have researched, they stopped making ESP Bangers in 2010....this is a special run made possible by the MDGO. If you are interested, please let me know....have a few of each still available.

League Glow and Friday Night Rolling Hiils Glow

Hope all of you are enjoying this Winter Storm 2015. I have already shoveled twice today, and it could use some more.....trying to not let it all build up.

Reminder for glow this Wednesday. Looks like we will have some extra white stuff on the ground. Will have more LEDs available(order in transit, should be here Tuesday would be my guess).

Helping Hands

Big shoutout to DeHaan and Kerns for shoveling and salting the pads last evening before the round......saved a lot of time having safe pads to throw from and were perfect for play.

Glow 01.14.14

Glow tomorrow night looks to be pretty cold.....as of now, LOW single digits and not supposed to be much wind.

We are at Bandemer tomorrow, and for the future.....tees are always much better and protection from wind is a HUGE plus.

LEDs available as well.....have Red and Blue available.

Have CFR discs available as well. Glow Destroyers, Firebirds(170-172), Rhynos, and Roc3. All funds go towards club to make improvements at Bandemer.....suggestions welcome as to what you would like to see improved.....have some ideas but more is better.

Glow Tonight 01.07

Just throwing this out as a reminder......we are at BANDEMER tonight.....given snow and cold temps this is a better option.

Have some hand warmers and new LEDs(blue, red) for those of you who need them. also have some new plastic that are supposed to be delivered today.....will bring them this evening.

Winter is here....and she is mad!

Well, winter appears to finally be here in Michigan. With the snow and cold, and projected really cold temps in the next few days, I am going to switch this week's round to BANDEMER....The woods will offer more protection from wind and snow, as well as the tee pads will certainly be in better shape (shoveled).

In addition, I should have BLUE and RED LEDs available on Wednesday. Glow discs are a challenge to find on a snow covered fairway....or rough for that matter.

Good turnout on the coldest league round of the year. Confident for those of you involved in DGLA, I would expect that you earned double points as feel like was 5 degrees during the later part of the round.
T Pills and Brooke take the win with a -11.... Three teams at -10 shoot off for the last two places. Restock and Hepler take home cash CTPs and Sprow earned the merch CTP.

Glow preview 11.19.14

Well, it appears that winter is officially here a bit early. With some of that white stuff on the ground, I want to remind everyone that glow discs can become difficult to locate at times. If you have LEDs, I would suggest taping them on tonight in preparation for tomorrow's round. If you do not have LEDs, I will have some for sale tomorrow. Please arrive a few minutes early to make your purchase and get them taped on.
We are at MBD tomorrow evening. Dress warm. Forecast says feel-like temps will be below 20. I will also make arrangements to have some hand warmers for sale too.

Glow 11.05 recap

Great night for glow...decent temp and great turnout. Thank you to the 26 players that came out. Hope the free CTP to start the round was worth it. The three guys that won looked pretty happy with the reward.
We had another dual ace night with Hepler striking again and Sailler splitting the pot with an ace of his own. 3-way tie for top spot at -11. 2 other teams finished only 1 shot back at -10. CTPs on the night went to Jay B, Bo, Kerns, and Sprow.

Working on trying to establish/run a few tournaments for WC Glow in 2015. Any feedback on dates/locations/formats is welcomed. Hoping to offer some good local events in the next year.

LEDs

I placed a new order for LEDs.....they were out of Red, which went over very well this last time around. I ordered RGB mood and 7-color mood LEDs. Mood LEDs slowly transition from one color to the next. Great effect for our glow rounds this fall. Should have them in plenty of time for next week's round.

Shane will be running league Wednesday night(I have conferences). For his sake, please post on the home page if you are planning to attend. He said he would check the Scene around 715ish to see who was planning on coming out to play.
I don't have any LEDs at the moment so Shane will not have any on hand tomorrow night. I do have more ordered, but they will not be here in time for Wednesday's round.

Disc Order Has Arrived

Order I placed with Innova was delivered yesterday. Discs are available for pick up. If you are interested in picking out your discs prior to Wednesday, please send me a message. Shane picked up his last night and at least two others and getting theirs this weekend. Variety of weights in the Champion Firebird and G-Star Destroyers. Pay early and get the best selection. Wow, what a night. Near perfect conditions and a great turnout tonight. 23 players came out this evening, with one new face joining the fun.
Sam Smith and Foz Miller take the win shooting -10 on the White-White layout.

Received an email regarding the custom order I placed. It looks like it is scheduled to ship later this week, and should be in my hands early next week. First Round on Wednesday

First round of Fall/Winter takes place tomorrow at Bandemer. Start time of 730....we are going to try this start time with the understanding that I may need to move it to 7pm.
Have ordered Red LEDs(the are in transit now) and I am hoping they are here tomorrow. Also placed an order for league stamped discs and they should be shipped soon(hoping they will be here in time for week 2).

Welcome to Fall Season

First league night of WC Glow Fall/Winter takes place on Oct. 1 at Bandemer. I have ordered some discs which will be likely available for week 2.
We are going to try out the 730 start time, with the understanding that this may change. Traditionally we have started at 7, but we will see how this goes.
