Thank you to everyone who took the time to share their thoughts about league this week. I just wanted to make sure I provided an opportunity to have a say.

We WILL NOT be holding league this week. Temperatures and the added wind chill will make things very unpleasant for everyone. Enjoy the rare wednesday night off, stay inside, and be safe if you do happen to be out on the roads.

I will also post on FB to try helping more to be aware of this change. Please feel free to reach out to those who might not check DGS frequently.

See you all next week on Feb 6th.

Mr. Arnet beat me to it this week. Wednesday is supposed to be INSANELY cold. So cold in fact that I believe it is probably it everyone’s best interest/safety to think about canceling this week. No one needs to be losing fingers or getting permanent damage from frostbite. Forecast looks like a high of -5 or so now with a low of -15.

Thoughts? I want to make sure a decision is made in time for everyone to know well in advance. Do not want anyone showing up Wednesday if we cancel.

I think it should be cancelled. Frostbite can occur at or around 10 minutes in the conditions forecasted for this night. I love disc golf but it's not worth hurting yourself over :)

I agree with what others have said, it sounds like a reasonable night to cancel but if not I will be there.

I'd love to play but I can't do "This Lil Piggy" with missing toes. I'd say we cancel this week?

Notice, next league night will be seriously cold. The "realfeel" is forecasted to be -29. Be prepared!

hahah, I'm bundled up and I'm IN my house. Can't wait for this weekend, though. Hunt for a Berth at Portage. Performance flight with 5 berths up for grabs.
