We are just over a week from kicking the 2022 season off with our Spring Session!!! This 6 week session will begin May 3rd and run for 6 weeks with the last day being on June 7th.

I have decided to continue with "Flex Start" option of a 5:30 to 6 PM window, with the final group(s) going out promptly at 6. Keeping this format will also make it easier to continue with PayPal for league entries and payouts. Cash can and will be accepted, but with groups finishing what could be 30-45 minutes apart, it makes sense to use this option for payouts. That way, once players have finished their rounds, they can leave for the night. I will also create a "League Bank" for regular players who want to let any winnings roll over week to week that can be used to cover entries. Then at the end of the season, the payout would be done based on all weeks of league.
This will be tracked and reported each week for anyone interested. So if you buy in the first week and then win $18, you can then use $12 of that $18 to cover the next league round and the have $6 in the "Bank." A few players went this route last year and was very easy to manage.

What I'm pretty much saying is the league will continue to run as it has over the past couple of years.

Weekly entry will hold at $10 with an optional $1 Ace Fund and $1 Daily CTP for $12 all in. The CTP will be paid out weekly and be on a shorter but random hole for the layout played. Ace fund is rolling, and will be paid out at the end of the session with bonus CTPs if no ace is hit. Of the $10 entry, $7 goes to payout with the remaining going to the club to help cover league expenses, including PDGA fees and insurance.

Ratings for these league rounds become final at the end of each session. So please keep this in mind that any rated rounds will not be included in your ratings update until July since the league will not finish before the ratings update in June.

Tentative Layout - Spring Session 2022 (subject to change based on weather and course conditions)

Week 1 (5/3) -- Reds to Longs
Week 2 (5/10) -- Front 9 White / Back 9 Reds to Short
Week 3 (5/17) -- Great White Short (1 Red, 2 White, 3 Blue, 4 Red, etc.)
Week 4 (5/24) -- Tiger Long (1 Blue, 2 Red to Island, 3 White, 4 Blue, 5 Red, etc)
Week 5 (5/31) -- Custom Layout (mix of Eagles Fly holes from Week 3 and 4)
Week 6 (6/7) -- 27 hole layout

Larry Bright Jr. On the weeks we play longer tees, the CTP will be designated to the shorter holes so everyone has a chance. For the White Tee layout, the random holes will be between 4, 13, 14, and 17.
