The Massillon Independent did a story on our club tonight before league, it should be in Tuesday's paper, Week 15 is posted to the leaderboard, In 1st place after the sudden death play off shooting a 45 is Mike Gastin and Tyler Voorhes $50, In 2nd place also with a 45 is Dustin Alcorn and Shaun Stotzer $30, and after a ctp throw off in 3rd place is Nick Burgess and Dave Bussey throwing a 50 $12. Three new players added to the league tonight, once again thank you all for your participation!

Week 14 scores are posted and the leaderboard is updated 20 players again! In 1st place throwing a 48 is Travis Goldsworthy and Adam Voorhes winning $50, after a throwoff 3 way tie at 49 for 2nd place Nick Burgess and Cody Stotzer $20, and in 3rd place is Dan Davis and Shaun Stotzer. Tim Wright wins the C.T.P. prize on hole 5 a CTP Stamped Truth. We had 6 new players tonight taking our total amount of players to 84 different people that have played, The SCDGA would like to thank each and every one of you for continuing to show support and your help with Growing The Sport!

Week 13 is finished, 20 players again this week, and once again I would like to thank you all for showing up and making this league what it is! In 1st place is Dan Davis and Tim Wright throwing a 46 taking home $50, in 2nd place is Luke Stoll and Matt Hill with a 48 taking home $20, and in 3rd place after a throw off 4 way tie at 49 is Matt Pilch and Abe Kromer $10. SCDGA is making amazing strides this year to benefit the players and without the players this would not be possible, thank you all!

Just finished up with week 12 of Friday night doubles, 20 players this week. In 1st place is Travis Goldsworthy and Adam Voorhes throwing a 47 taking home $50, in 2nd place with a 48 after a ctp throw off is Dan Davis and Jeff Thornsberry $20, and in third place also with a 48 is Tristan Wilson and Sam Crawford $10. Justin Worrell wins the ctp prize on hole 12 a Z-Buzz. Once again I would like to thank everyone for your continued support, you are the reason we are GROWING THE SPORT!

The Storms passed thru just in time for a rain free week 10 of Friday night doubles, 21 players despite the threat of severe weather. In 1st place after a 2 hole play off is Mike Gastin and John Franks throwing a 45 and winning $44, in 2nd place is Don Fox and Lee Spencer also at 45 $30, in 3rd place is myself and Tim Wright throwing a 46 $10. Mike Gastin also wins the CTP prize on hole 7 a Discraft Glow Stalker, and with his 2nd ace in the last 3 weeks of league Justin Worrell takes home $107, thank you all for your continued support of the SCDGA!

Stats for week 9 are posted, 18 players this week for Friday night doubles at Oak Ledges DGC. In first place is myself and Shane Heckman with a 46 $40, 2nd place with a 47 is Steve Cain and Gary Haines $20, and 3rd place after a throw off is Don Fox and Chris Mahaffey with a 48 $12, Anthony Battle wins the Ctp prize Champion Leopard on hole 15. Once again I would like to thank you all for showing up, without your continued enthusiasm for this league we would not be growing the sport of Disc Golf to new levels in the Stark County area. You all Roc!

Week 8 of Friday night doubles at Lincoln Park and I can not thank you all enough for continuing to show up, 24 players this week. In first place throwing a 47 is Tristan Wilson and Lee Spencer $50, in a 3 way tie at 49 after the throw off is James Orth and Matt Hill $30, Dan Davis and Aaron Paoletto finish 3rd to take home $16, Frankie Yentz wins the CTP on hole 6 Discraft Meteor. Seven weeks into the league and the players are still showing up 19 this week. Big thanks to Sam Beall for running it on short notice since I could not make it. In first place with a 47 Justin Worrell and Darius Weinshemer $46, 2nd place after the throw off is Anthony Battle and Sam Crawford $20, 3rd place after another throw off is Tristan Wilson and Lee Spencer $10, Justin Worrell aces hole 10 and takes home an extra $25. Thanks to everybody for coming out same time same place next Friday at 6pm

Another amazing turnout tonight for week 6 of Friday night doubles at Oak Ledges, 24 players this week, In first place with a 46 is Greg Platt and Mike Moore $50, after a ctp throw off tied at 47 Travis Goldsworthy and Luke Stoll $30 and Dan Davis and Patrick Jackson $16 Travis got me on the ctp by exactly the size of a disc, Sam Manning wins a Pro Destroyer for his Ctp on hole 16, and with possibly "the first ace ever recorded in over 20 years of Oak Ledges DGC existence" Travis Golds ... more

Once again we had a great turnout for week 4 of Friday night doubles, 20 players this week, In 1st place with a 45 is Travis Goldsworthy and Luke Stoll $50, 2nd place with a 46 is Dan Davis and John Franks $20, 3rd place had a 3 way tie at 49 and after the throw off Mike Gastin and Mike Marion $10, Frankie Yentz wins the esp Buzz CTP on hole 2, $20 to the club, ace fund is now at $118. Week 3 of doubles is in the books and once again we had an amazing turnout, 23 players this week, In 1st place throwing a 46 is Steve Cain and Matt Green $50, 2nd place at 48 is Matt Dungan and Dustin Lazar $30, and after the throw off for 3rd at 49 is John Stutz and Gary Haines $12, Gary Haines also wins the ctp on hole 12. $23 to the club, and the ace fund is at $100. Thanks for the updates Davis, for what it's worth the CTP marker had already been pulled before our group played that hole.....maybe a reminder prior to start from now on that this shouldn't be removed until all groups play the hole.

Great turnout again this week, 21 players 1st place shooting a 46 is Mike Gastin and Matt Green $50, 2nd place with a 47 Travis Goldsworthy and Michael Emerick $20, and in 3rd place with a 49 Don Fox and Ryan Brahler $10. Dustin Alcorn wins the ctp on hole 10. $21 dollars to the club this week and the ace fund now stands at $78. Thank you to everybody for coming out, I hope to see you all again next Friday!

Ok everybody, it looks like the rain will be moving out early tomorrow and it is looking like a beautiful night to come out and join in the SCDGA Friday night doubles. The club will donate a ctp prize pack for the closest drive on hole 10 which will include a 25oz aluminum water bottle, an Innova disc golf sticker and a mini. We had 15 players last week for our first night of league! See you there!
