August 3-7 Flex start, white tees

Hey everyone, same format as last week. I created an August 3-7 event in uDisc. Get together for groups of 3-5, check in with uDisc, and play your round any time between now and Friday evening.

I've also been working on a spreadsheet to more accurately track league credits - I'll have it posted sometime this week. Last week's scores will be posted today.

Weekly flex start play

I've created a multi-day event in UDisc for July 27-31 and will create additional events each week until normal Wednesday evening play can resume. Players may play their weekly round any time Monday thru Friday. Feel free to use Facebook to coordinate rounds with other players, as you must play in groups of 3-5 players for your round to count. Weekly fees are still $5 ($4 league + $1 optional ace pot) payable via Venmo to @andyflemm or using league credit. If you don't pay me I'll ... more

July 15 and 22 rounds cancelled

League rounds for July 15 and July 22 are cancelled. For a two-week period beginning July 10, outdoor gatherings of 50 or more people are prohibited in Allegheny County.

I will make an announcement for future rounds based on rules and restrictions set by our local government. Thank you all for understanding.

July 8 round cancelled

There will be no league play this week, Wednesday, July 8.
Effective Friday, July 3 Allegheny Health Department Director Dr. Debra Bogen announced a one-week closure of bars, restaurants and casinos, and the cancellation of all activities or events over 25 people for that same one-week time period.

Changes for the 2020 season

OK everyone, let's get ready for the start of Wednesday Night League. We're going to make a whole bunch of changes. A lot of people have shared some great ideas to speed up rounds, prevent crowding, and help maintain social distancing.

First of all, if you have a smart phone, download uDisc, create a login and get used to using it. Thanks to Cameron Weber we're part of their beta testing for leagues. One big advantage is you can use the app to check in, which means you might no ... more

Start of League, June 17!

Plans are to start league on Wednesday, June 17. Same times as before, early birds starting around 3:00-3:30 and finishing during normal check-in from 5:00-5:45. As always, 3-5 people are required per card.

Scoring: with COVID-19 still a concern, the plan is to go 100% with digital scorecards. Someone in your group needs to have Udisc or a similar scorekeeping app and must submit a screenshot to [email redacted] before midnight that evening. First and last names must be on the card for each p ... more
