Players must be signed up by 5:45pm when groups will be blind drawn. Group sizes will be determined by the total number of players to show up each night. Some form of shotgun start will be used for pace of play, but will be determined each night. Each session round and the tournament will be a single 18 hole round. Make-up rounds are not permitted and only scores submitted at the time of the events are valid.
Bag Tags
Every event as part of the series is considered a mandatory tag event. Tags are only exchanged within the playing group you are in. Bag tags are not required to play in the league.
Points
For each night of league, however many players show up determines how many points the best score can receive for that event. For example, if 20 players show up on a given night, the best score receives 20 points and the worst score receives 1 point. The closing tournament will have the same point system, but points are worth double. There will be a winner for each session, the closing tournament, and an overall winner of the entire series.
Course Layout
Each session and the closing tournament will have progressively stricter layouts. Session 1 will have relaxed out of bounds conditions. Session 2 will add more difficulty. Session 3 will be challenging. The closing tournament will have the most demanding OB rules. Per-hole OB rules will be posted prior to the start of each session. Club administrators will try to have the course marked if possible.
Optional Cash Games
$5 Ace Pot & Closest-to-the-Pin: Each event will offer an optional $5 Ace Pot/CTP game. $2 will go into the progressive ace pot, $2 will go to a CTP on hole 18. $1 of each entry will go to the Saucer Tossers for club/course improvements.
$5 Cash Game: Any player can enter the nightly cash game. The top 3 scores will pay out. Payouts will vary based on the number of entrants. $1 of each entry will go to the Saucer Tossers for club/course improvements.
