Riverside Park Wednesday Night Leagues

One more week to go!

Next week is going to be the last week for Summer League. We will play a round of Short/Long with some baskets moved around. I will bring my laptop and we will do payouts, trophys and prizes after the round. We will have some cold beverages and most likely some food. Im pretty sure we will be having subs. Feel free to bring anything. Looks like its going to be a close finish for second and third.

More Wind

Two more weeks left in this never ending league! Next week I would like to start earliy again 5:15 to 5:40ish. Next week will be Long/ short. Remember this Saturday!!! "Just Throw Glow Tournament " at Riverside Park. This will be a fun night starting at 3:30 at the Indiana Ave. Parking Lot. One round Before Dark and one round In the Dark. Dark and Windy

It was Dark and Windy. Gonna try to get out as soon as we have groups ready to go next week. We will be shooting Shorts next week. I will try to get out and move some baskets. Gotta Love Short Shorts

Finally Sam gets a big win! He will be paying for our leagues next week.
Aaron is Mr. August! Three staight weeks of taking money totalling $64! Wow
And the Ace Pool was drained again. This time by John R. for $62 ( I owe you $2 yet) John aced hole #11.
Next week will either be ONE disc night or alt. Teepads. Don't know yet... Both? Also remember we will be meeting in the other parking lot between the basketball court and playground at the picnic tables. I will have a practice basket for putting. Enjoy you Labor Day!

Long/Short

Another big Night for Aaron and another night of league complete. The best part of the night was seeing a squirrel fall 30+ ft. out of a tree on hole 13. It sounded like a 100 pound rock hitting the ground. It just got up and ran away. Shorts Next Week and more falling squirrels hopefully! - - - One disc night sometime this year yet?

Big Night for Short Tees

We had a great night with 25 players showing up. We also had 6 new players! That is Awesome!!! The bigger we grow the more CTPs and bigger payouts we will have. Congrats to all the winners especially Aaron shooting a two over before handicap. Hope to see you all this Saturday at the Snapper Open. Registration is 7:30 to 8:30 at the parking lot where we meet for leagues - Not the Pavilion. There will be multiple canopys and tables set up there. "Get your Disc Snapped at the Snapper Open!"

It was cold and rainy night

Austin MF Texas! Austin aced hole #3 for $200, won with a -8, and took two of the three CTP's!
Next week we are playing shorts. I will NOT send out any groups of 5 or more anymore this year. Last night got dark fast with the rain. See you next week in sunny weather.

Two Disc Night

Another night with no Aces. It was nice to change it up. Let me know of any other ideas for the next "change up night". On another note...This league will place 1st, 2nd and 3rd overall with trophies and prizes. We are not sure what prizes may be depending on what we can get from sponsership. At the least the prizes will be valued at 50,30, 20 from the club. Just wanted to add that in there. Bring a friend next week or your mom and get a dollar off your league fee!

Week #4

It was a hot and windy night and the scores reflected it. For most of us it was a handicap rebuilding week. REMEMBER next week is two disc night from the shorts. You can only bring two discs out on the course in your bag...more room for drinks?

Summer League has Begun!!!

Thanks everyone for coming out last night! Its great to see new players join our leagues. Still NO ACES! Someday someones going to have a nice payout! There will be NO League next Wed on the 4th of July. Enjoy the holiday and see you the following Wed. on July 11th.
