Last week at the Pond

Thanks to all that participated in this first League at the new Painesville course! Rollie shot a great round to get the first place points and 14 bucks, also he got one of two 27 dollar CTP's Joe M got the other one! Nice shooting guys!! Joe and Rick split the 14 for B. Rollie also won the total League points and 20 dollars to buy a disc of his choice,,,lol spend it how you like!! Thanks to all who made this a lot of fun for me to run!!. We have the next nine holes laid out and approved ... more

We have the next nine holes laid out and approved so round 2 of Fundraising, this time with the help of Downtown Painesville Organization, reaching out to the many contacts they have! Spring or early Summer we hope to have the 18 hole course we had envisioned many years ago! Mickey and all of us at PDGC!! Final scores have been posted. See you all Nov 1st for our Sunday Doubles, and Ice Bowl Jan 16th 2016!!

Last Week

Tomorrow will be the last week for Thursday league!! We will have 2- 23 dollar CTP's to distribute the Ace fund! Rollie and Willie are at the top of the points for first. We will start a Sunday League Nov 1st at 10 AM! it will be doubles if we get enough players! Last night we layed out the plans for the next 9 making this the first 18 hole course in lake county!! We will be looking for funding one again from business and players if you like!!

Thanks for the 4 who showed up! Willie again shot a great 51 to take the A points and 8 bucs. Joe m shot a nice 56 to secure the b points and cash. and Willie parked the ctp for a mini and sticker. The 24th will be our last week, so get up and grab the last of the points!! A disc prize will be awarded to the highest total points, now a tie between Willie and Rollie!! We will do 2 ctps of 23 dollars to distribute the ace funds collected so far. If you showed up at least once you can throw for ... more

Sept. 10th At The Pond

Great to see a few new players this week! Larry Bright came out and took the A division with a great -8 for the 14 dollars and 3 points! Willie shot a plus 1 to take the 14 dollar B cash and the 3 points. Willie again took the ctp. Steve Pastor came out for the first time and shot a nice 60 for the 2nd place b points and Joe and Mickey shot a 61 and after a ctp Mickey got the final B point. The disc dogs will be there with free canoe rides family games 3 on 3 basketball for teens Skate park competition and of course Disc Golf beginners clinic at 1 pm

The Pond....5:45 start next week

THE POND is my new name for the Painesville course.....Thursday it took its usual bounty, but Rollie and Willie pulled off a great 2 rounds for a great 51 Willie got the throw off and the cash and 3 points and Rollie got the 2 points. Jared shot a nice 59 to take the B group for the cash and 3 points, Mickey got the 2 points and Sean got the 1 point in B. Lets push for a 5:45 start next week! The Ace fund is growing so come on out and join us for a great last few weeks. We will start a Sundays Double League at the end of the Thurs Leauge!!

What Lake

Of course the Pond took its usual disc, but Justin P showed up and shot a great even 54 to take the B points with Rick tying him for a shootout at hole 1! Willie shot a great 51 to get the a points and money in A. Willie also got the ctp for a dx wraith. Join us next week for the fun! Do not forget those not playing in tournys on Sept 12th join us at Painesville rec park for family day! We are holding a driving and putting event for new players that we hope to attract! 1 pm followed by open play!

You missed the wind!

Well 3 made it up to The pond!! Rollie again shot a great 53 to win the A group and Tex(Ryan Kimbro) had a great 55 to get the win in B. I shot a 60...ugg. Hope to see more of you up here next week! Plans are in the works for the next 9 and we will be meeting with the Parks dept. First week of Sept to make this a true 18 hole course! We still can use your help with trying to gather donations from area business and disc golfers no amount is too little! Lets get this done!! Rollie also grabbed the CTP on hole one for a 2014 Ace Race Disc!

Fun Second Week

We finally have some minus scores. Tim shot a great 51 followed by Rollie with a great 52. In the B division Joe shot a great 55 followed by Dave and Mickey with a 56!

First Week

We finally got the first week in the books! Thanks to the 8 who showed up! Tim K, and Dave H shot great even 54 rounds to tie at first, with Rob Yaddi at a +1 and Rollie R with a +2 this week! So no A rounds so far! Come on out next week and join us
