The July 2nd league day will be postponed.
Due to the holiday rush neither I or Mark will be able to host leagues Thursday July 2. I apologize for the lateness in this decision. We will make it up to you all with a double disc CTP the following week. I have also emailed the pdga to move that week to July 23 to add it to the end of the season so we will still have a 6 week and not lose out on the fun.
If you're looking for a singles sanctioned league this week, I'd recommended checking out Huron Valley. They will be doing toboggan all shorts on Tuesday June 30th.
Have a happy and safe 4th of July weekend everyone.

Second week
Great shooting everyone. Phill, save some birdies for the rest of us, sheesh.
AMs and MPO will continue to play the same format, though it was way too chaotic having mixed cards for payouts. We will have AMs play with AMs and MPO play with other MPO moving forward. Just makes it easier after round.
I haven't decided yet what the layout will be next week. I think all longs again, but we will play one hole short, or we may design a temp hole, if not next week, at some point.

League update
Don't mind the leaderboard on disc golf scene. It is combining that everyone played shorts. The pdga ratings are correct and separated everyone as I have it set for two different layouts.
It does look like everyone will have to play the same pads moving forward per pdga. They require this so we have enough propagators. So we can mix it up each week with what pads everyone is playing.
Other than that little hiccup. Everything went great last night. Lots of new faces and lots of good positive feedback on the course. Looking forward to seeing everyone in week 2.

June 11th at 5:30 will be tee off. Try to get there a bit before that so I can have some announcements, go over what's new/changes, etc

PDGA posted back events until June
We are still getting clarification if this will be a state by state issue if sanctioned events can take place any earlier. Unclear if Michigan gets the clear by the governor on the stay at home order, if sanctioning can happen. But as of right now no events until June.

League pushed back
We have been monitoring the PDGA and their decisions being made to keep everyone safe. All sanctioned events have been pushed back to May 7th at the earliest.
Thur 23 of July. Last day for this 6 week session
Layout: All longs with hole 1 short.
We will be giving out two Berths to AMs. You must have an active PDGA number and be willing to go to compete in states. If you're on the fence, please don't put your name in the hat for the side game.
We will have our normal sanctioned round. What you shoot for the day will decide if you win the Berth. I have a handicap chart/formula that uses your current rating to determine your handicap.
I also will be bringing 43 discs to sell at ONLY ... more

We will be taking a one Thursday break after the 23 league day. So July 30th no league. We will be taking this opportunity to do some more work on the course. Hopefully a new tee or two. Feel free to ask myself or Mark how you can help. Trust me we appreciate it. We just cleaned up hole 11-13 for three hours a couple days ago and it kicked out old butts.
