2016 League for North Strabane Park will be a handicap league where you get 80% of your last 3 scores for your handicap. This benefits the brand new, quickly improving player, as well as the seasoned consistent player. League will be Thursday's at 5:30pm starting May 5th and running until Sept 29th. It will only be a $5 entry each week and that includes ace pool.
The top handicap scores, (not raw score) each week will get disc credit towards Steel City Disc Golf to spend or save at their leisure. The amount will depend on the number of participants that week. Steel City Disc Golf will bring the store to us at North Strabane one time per month to do some shopping or place orders. Eventually there will also be a disc golf shop out of the pavilion near the course.
The last Thursday of each month will be a special round that you must have a handicap for. Examples include Doubles, Single hole skins, Alt shot doubles, Single disc rounds, battle golf, and glow golf (Glow golf will happen on a Friday). Some of these will be raw score and some may use your handicap but scores will not count towards regular handicap rounds.
