About this league
Fee per round $5
No Bounds League Rules
Changes as of 6/3/20
We will be playing 6 more weeks and will be playing singles. Each player will have 2 mulligans to user per week as they see fit. We will be playing 3 people per card. Please social distance and don't pick up other player's discs or bags.
The course schedule is not set in stone as some courses are still not open for leagues. If that continues then we will either play alternate courses or we will play the same course again.
At the end of the season First place and Second place will win a berth to States as well as a Berth Package (consists of a Buzzz, mini buzzz, and hat). If there is a two way tie for 1st then those two will be the berth winners. If there is a 1st place winner and a tie for second then the berth will go to the member who doesn’t already have a berth. If both do not have a berth then the berth winner will go to the player with the most season wins, then the most 2nd places, then the most 3rd places, etc. based on these final 6 weeks, until a winner is found. If still tied then it will be based on most aces, then total 30 foot + putts, then a throw off.
Weekly Cost: $0
Ace Pool: $3
Disc Giveaway: $2
What Time Do We Start: We'll meet at 1:45 and Throw at 2 pm.
ACE POOL PAYOUTS: Ace pot payout is 80%. At the end of the season if no aces have been hit then after the final round there will be a throw off for all players present who have come to at least 3 weeks. The closest to the basket will win 50% of the pot. The remaining 50% will be split 40/10 with 40% going to the Sandra Richardson Fund at the Throw Shop and the remaining 10% to the league.
The remaining 20% is left in the pot to start the next Ace pool.
If multiple Aces are hit in a round, then the winners will split the winnings.
A mulligan Ace will count for both the winnings and the points.
New points 6/3/20
Points:
1st = 10
2nd = 8
3rd = 6
4th = 4
5th = 3
6th = 2
7th and beyond = 1
If there are ties then those players will get the higher points and the next place player will get the points for their position. For example if there are five players and two tie for second then points are given 10, 8, 8, 4, 3.
Each player will get 2 mulligans to use per week as they see fit. They don’t carry over. You must decide to use your mulligan before leaving your lie or the tee. An exception will be made if you are unable to find your disc or your disc goes OB. If your mulligan throw is worse than your original throw you can use your original throw BUT your mulligan has been used.
Bonus Points:
30 foot or longer putts = 1
3 Birds in a Row = 1
4 Birds in a Row = 2
5 Birds in a Row = 3
Etc.
Any Aces = 10 points
Play in Rain = 1
CTPs: CTPs are To Be Determined.
Each player will get 2 mulligans to use throughout the round as they see fit.
Birds in a Row: There are holes at each course that we will consider a Par 4, if you get a 3 on it then it will count as a Birdie and can count for your Birds in a Row bonus points. These will be announced before the round.
Scoring and Scorecards: Scoring will be done by 1 person for the whole round. That person can use UDisc and send me an image of each person's final score as well as hole by hole scores. Or scoring can be done by 1 person using a scorecard (I will have them available).
Weather: If weather is looking bad I will post the day before in our Facebook group and on disc golf scene. I will also post any updates on the Facebook group and DGS if anything changes the day of. No posts then we're more than likely playing.
If there is a steady rain or if our round is delayed because of rain but still played on the scheduled day then all players will receive 1 bonus point.
We are playing 6 more weeks. Any rainouts will just be added to the end of the season until all 6 weeks are played.
If there are any Covid outbreaks, park shutdowns, or stay home orders then we may just end the season as is and award berths to those with the most points at the time.
