About this league

No Bounds Coed Doubles League Rules
NOTE I do not bring the Ace pool money with me so if any Aces are hit, I will pay after the round or during the following week. Thanks!

Weekly Cost: $5
Ace Pool: $2
CTP: $3

Where is my money going?
Weekly $5 is split as follows:
$1: League – To pay for berths and other league related stuff
$4: Weekly Payouts – Payouts will be split evenly between partners

What Time Do We Start: We’ll meet at 1:30 and Throw at 2 pm.

ACE POOL RULES: If you have played with us 10 times or more and hit an ace then you will win 80% of the pot. If you have not played with us 10 times and hit an ace then you will win 50% of the pot.

The remaining 20% is left in the pot to start the next Ace pool.

How Teams are Picked:
After you pay, grab a chip with a number on it, we’ll write it down next to your name, put it in the bag. After everyone has paid and picked a number, we will draw numbers out of the bag. Each two numbers will be teammates. So I draw 4 & then 12, the players with those two numbers will be partners. Women can choose to not be on the same team. If they choose to not be on the same team then I draw 4 & then 12 and both are women then the next number I draw will be a partner with 4 and the second number drawn will be a partner with 12.

The last remaining chip will be Cali. Cali gets 1 extra throw per hole, and they do not carry over.

It is best lie and both team members must throw from the same lie. If the rule is broken then their next throw must be thrown from the furthest lie.

If your teammate cannot finish the round then you may play Cali for the remaining holes.

You must play at least half of the holes to get points for the week.

Points:
However many teams we have will be how many points will be given out. If there are six teams then points will go 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1. If there are 3 teams then 3, 2, 1 and so on. If there are ties then those teams will get the higher points and the next place team will get the points for their position. For example if there are five teams and two tie for second then points are given 5, 4, 4, 2, 1.

If there is a tie for a payout then teams can decide to have a playoff, a throw off, or to split the cash. We prefer 1st place ties to be decided by a playoff and any other cash payouts to be decided by a throw off.

State Berths: The person with the highest score for the season will win a berth to States. If the winner already has a berth then it will go to 2nd place. If 2nd place already has a berth then it will go to the next and so on. If there is a tie for a berth then there will be a playoff.

League Winners: The winner of the league will win a state berth package which includes 2 discs, a mini disc, a hat and a pair of sunglasses.

Bonus Points:
CTP Winners = 1
Longest Putt Winners = 1
Birdie Bonus = 3
3 Birds in a Row = 1
4 Birds in a Row = 2
5 Birds in a Row = 3
Etc.
Break our league course record = 3
150 foot or less Ace = 5
151-200 foot Ace = 10
201-250 foot Ace = 15
251 foot or more = 20

CTP: One of the shortest holes each week will be the CTP hole. The player that gets closest to the pin will receive 1 bonus point. Throughout the season there will be prizes for CTP and will be announced before the round starts. An Ace on the CTP hole will count as CTP.

If you are Cali, you can use your extra throw to try and get CTP.

Longest Putt: One of the longest holes each week will be the Longest Putt hole. The player that hits the furthest putt will receive 1 bonus point. If both team members hit the longest putt then both will get the bonus point.

You can throw your disc back farther to try and hit the longest putt BUT each throw will count as a stroke. Example: Person A makes a putt from 30 feet for par. Person B is 25 feet away and decides to go for longest putt. Person B throws his 3rd shot out to 35 feet. Person B misses the 35 foot putt. Person B throws his disc out to 35 feet again and then makes the 35 foot putt for the longest putt. Person B would have 6 strokes on that hole. Once your disc is in the basket, you cannot try any further for longest putt.

If you are Cali and miss your first shot for the longest putt and still have your extra shot for that hole then you may try again for longest putt. If you are Cali you cannot get 2 points if you make both your regular shot and extra shot from the longest putt.

If you are Cali and throw your disc, you may use that disc again for your extra throw BUT you must then play from the second lie. For example: Cali is 50 feet out and throws his 3rd shot and lands a foot away from the basket. Cali still has an extra shot and feels they can make it if they throw again with the same disc. They pick up the thrown disc and throw again. This time their 3rd shot lands 20 feet away. They now must play from the 20 foot lie.

Birdie Bonus
Each week there will be 4 birdie holes. If your team can get birdies on 3 of the 4 birdie holes for that week you will get 3 bonus points. For example: Lakeshore the 4 birdie holes could be holes 1, 4, 15, and 17 or 4, 13, 15, & 18. They won’t necessarily be the 4 shortest holes each week. We may pick a hole where a Birdie will be considered a 3 or 4.

Weather: I will post by noon if we will not be playing that day. If no post by noon then expect to play. At 2 pm if it’s lightning then we will wait an hour and play at 3 pm. If at 3 pm it’s still lightning then we will cancel that week and replay it at the end of the season.

We are playing 8 weeks. Any rainouts will just be added to the end of the season until all 8 weeks are played. For our summer league I need to have the Berth in before August 18th so the winner can register by August 24th. So if our season is not finished yet then the berth winner will be whoever is in 1st at the end of August 18th.
