About this League

Just feeling it out right now. Going to have a small group starting Tuesday, so come on out. We'll be playing doubles, random draw. The idea is to get it running smoothly enough to start playing safari weeks, as well as 1 disc weeks, putters only, and more. Lets get it goin. Goal is to be $5 weekly, $1 ace pool as well as one other $1 pot per week. First few weeks may be different. E-mail for any questions.

This f@#%in' guy..
So AJ is deciding to let Ken know, it's his course. Taking a run at the belt. Good shooting today, with the exception of a wounded soldier and a few dub boggs. AJ got all the money; 5 greenbacks on number 3's CTP, 5 more clams with an ace on 23 (not from the 'x'), and a twank for winning. Next week's format is in the works, hopefully. I'm open to all ideas so please send 'em my way. Big Putts!

Well last night was a little too intense for everyone, including myself. 3 people showed up, so we are officially rescheduled for tonight! We are going to start a little later possibly, but try to make it or get a hold of me by 630 anyways. Thanks for the cooperation and lets see some putts this evening

Weekly Update
congrats to James for hitting an ace on hole 20. Ryan won the ctp. AJ won the glow round and hit an ace on hole 12. I did not post the glow scores because I'm not sure what they were. If someone wants to send them to me i will post them.
I would like to thank Steve for draining most of the putts that kept us in the lead.

I know it is a little short notice...
I am going to try gathering up the flags to mark an "island green" for hole numbers 7/19. If I have the flags, it is going to be an approximate 15' or 20' circle around the pin. I will be rotating this idea throughout all of the shorter obstacle-less holes, add a little spice. I have yet to figure out any decent format that will keep a fast pace, so we may just work with OB tomorrow. Don't forget, $3 night circus shortly after completion of regular round. Lot of leaves out there today, so pending the grass doesn't get cut, be prepared to hunt for some come dark. Get those putts in!

Weekly Results
Nice Shooting Fella's! We had a decent showing considering the weather. AJ and Brian take first by winning a CTP to break the three way tie. Kurt won $11 for winning the CTP on hole 16, and Ken won $45 for hitting an ace on hole 7.

Lil Arms gets hip!
So the new buzzz if you will around the disc golf world is glowing. Well, being as saavy as we are here at Brys, we will now be running a small night dubs round to follow immediately after standard league play. This will be a chance for some more money winners each week, and for league points. If the interest is there, an ace pool as well as ctp may start.

Weekly results
As you know this week was the One Disc Challenge. Congrats to Brian and Adam for winning with an impressive 17 under. Adam also took the CTP on hole 11 for $13.
Please remember 6:30 is our start time. That means we will draw partners at about 6:25.

Weekly Results
First and second place ended up as a tie splitting the $60 purse. Joe Wallo cashed in on the CTP hole for $11.
Reminder...Next week we will be having a one disc challenge. Pick one disc to use for the entire night. Should we have a penalty for a lost disc?

One disc challenge on september 21st
One september 21st we will be limiting players to the use of one disc of your choice. For exmple Bayer said he is going to use his mini. I may use a putter or a midrange depending on the weather.

Who would have thought we would see such low scores when we used only putters. Congrats to Chuck for winning $10 on the cpt hole & Mr. Win Tran for draining the ace pool.

To Whom it May Concern
I am aware I said that we'd be playing putters only (up to 3) starting in September. I am going to put it to some sort of vote tomorrow to get it going this week, and then next week we will be playing single disc. I think this sort of thing will help to build an ace pool. So come prepared to play either format, well try to keep everyone happy. Scores getting dealt with, I am aware I skipped a week, it will be up shortly. Thanks to everyone who has been coming out.

Technical difficulties...
I have been some issues with the electronics at my house since the power outtage. I have not posted scores from last week, but I still have all the cards and will once I am not using my phone for internet. Thanks, and see you all this evening.
On a side note, the first week of September will be putters only. You may carry up to 3. Closest to hole will be predetermined and the ace pool will be running.

Good turn out this week. Congrads to Eric P with the closest to the pin on hole 20. Please shoot for making it out a little closer to 6 this week. Still taking me a little bit to get everyone off smoothly but I'll get better. See you all next week and please, keep them putts in the air

Week 1
Thanks to everyone that made it out. Turned out quite a bit smoother than I expected being a rookie. Start getting the word around, I think the course has a chance at turning out some fun circus game weeks.
Good job Adam with the CTP on number 13.
START TIME IS CHANGED TO 6:30.
It got a little slim on daylight this week so were going to go 30 minute early. Try to get there by 6:15 so everyone gets a finish. Hope to see you all again next week, and keep those putts up.
Road Trip?
Well it has been an idea, and I think were going to go with it. Little Arms '10 field trip to Firefighters park at 7pm to tee off with our old buddies from the Metro Detroit Disc Golf League. They switched over to Tuesday glow, and boy do we miss em. I am going to offer up our ace pool for the evening, incase of the highly likely event of a league ace out there. Get someone some more coin for that slam hole. If anyone would like to carpool or protest this idea, call or text Lionel at 5868506105. He will know all the details. Putts; get em in the air already!
