I have decided that I am going to try to bring this back. It is what got me playing and I am hoping that it may do the same for others. This is an open round which encourages newer players to come out and play with more seasoned players in a group setting. This is an open round which encourages newer players to come out and play with more seasoned players in a group setting. It is doubles and there is a handicap system which evens things out after a player plays a couple of weeks.

There is no cost or long term commitment. Show up whichever weeks you are free. The pair with the worst score owes the pair with the best score a beer. Feel free to add the word 'root' to the beginning if you are a non-drinker or under 21.

If you are on the winning or the losing pair, you adjust your handicap by one point. After a few rounds the better players will have to add to their score each week and the newer players will take points off of their score.

Please show up and have fun. Please encourage newer players, spouses, etc to come out and play with us.

If you guys decide that you want to do a $1 ace pool, I'll track it. I'm not partial either way.
