About this league

21-week season includes a mid-season divisionals tournament, player party and high-low doubles tournament. Double-digit CTPs/LPs every week and berths to the Michigan Amateur State Championships for divisional winners.

Full Pay Member: $110 (no weekly fee)
Weekly Member: $35 (plus $5 on each week you attend)

Drop in as a member or a guest between 4 and 6 PM on Thursday evenings beginning April 20, 2022 through September 7, 2022 and enjoy a round of disc golf at the beautiful Leprechaun Hollows. This course is only open once a week, so take advantage of an inexpensive opportunity to play this great course and win some prizes in the process.

All members will receive one premium disc with the LHDGC stamp as part of their player pack along with a custom club polo.

Thursdays, April 20th through September 7th – 4:30pm to 6pm tee times (flexible tee times are available, but may remove you from CTP prize contention for that week and must be pre-approved).

- Specific course rules apply: NO CIGARETTES, DRUGS or ALCOHOL out on the course. Let’s keep everything clean and players acting respectable. We will also be instituting sportsmanship standards this year. If your behavior out on the course is in violation of club rules or PDGA etiquette, and another player files a formal complaint with the club president, then you will be given one strike. After two strikes you will be suspended for two weeks. After three strikes you will be removed from the league with no refund. For any clarification, please contact the club president. Any DNFs resulting from anything other than an emergency, injury, or weather-related danger will forfeit any future end-of-season payouts in order to maintain the integrity of the scoring and adjusted scoring races.

- Handicaps – The first three weeks will be used to establish handicaps for new players. For specific details on how it is calculated, please contact the league president.

- Divisionals - June 22 will be the 10th week of the season and will serve as the date for our members-only, divisionals tournament. Players will be divided into four different divisions based on skill and league standings (LHDGC reserves the right to move players to different divisions as needed to keep the competitive spirit strong). Five berths to the Michigan State Championships will be on the line. In addition, the event will be played as a PDGA-sanctioned C-tier, so the round will be rated and recorded with the PDGA.

- High-Low Doubles and Awards Ceremony: September 7th at 5:30pm.

- Scoring Awards: A player must have a minimum of 13 rounds played to qualify for year-end scoring awards and at least 6 rounds played to qualify for hi-lo doubles. Overall scoring average removes your best and worst round when calculating.

- Points: You accumulate points by scoring well against your handicap. Only your best 13 point-scoring rounds will count, so you can still miss a few weeks and be right on pace. You will receive 1 point for each league member you beat each week (including members who don't show up). There are year-end awards for top point earners.

- Mandos: Hole #3, Hole #5, Hole #8, Hole #11 and Hole #14 will feature Mandos. On Hole #8, play must pass to the left of the marked tree. Your Hole #11 tee shot must pass to the left of the marked tree and OVER the first fence. All missed Mandos proceed to the drop zone with a penalty stroke.

-Island Hole: Hole 16 is a high-risk, high-reward shot. Your tee shot must come to rest ON THE ISLAND. If a shot from the tee finishes out of bounds, a penalty stroke will be assessed and that player must re-tee.

- Ace Pool: Members receive 100 percent of the ace pool at the time of their ace, while guests receive 50 percent. If applicable, the remaining ace pool at the end of the season will be split between the high-low doubles and year-end payouts. An ace during the high-low doubles WILL NOT be paid out.

- Guests are welcome for $5, and they get entry into all CTPs and 50% of the ace pool.

-Prize drawing: Each week, we will pull one winner from the jar to receive a prize. There are four eligible winners inside the jar each week (hot round, best adjusted score, most birdies and longest par streak).

- Tee off: All players must begin their round from Hole #7.

- Out of bounds: All boundaries and course penalties are listed on the back of each scorecard as well as the tee signs.

- UDisc Leagues will be used to keep score.

In the event that the league is terminated early due to unforeseen circumstances, only Full-Pay Members will receive a refund. Even then, they will only receive $5 back per week that was not played minus the $35 player pack fee. After week 10, there would be no more refund. Any extra funds would rollover to help pay for the 2023 season.
