Join us at JUMC "The Lord's Landing" Disc Golf Course on Sundays this winter for a continuation of our Handicap Singles League! Teeing off at 1pm, please arrive and check-in by 12:45. Cost is $3 per week ($2 to payout/$1 to course).

Please be sure to check Disc Golf Scene and UDisc every Sunday morning as winter rounds will be subject to potential weather cancellations. If an event is marked cancelled, that means a league host will not be present to coordinate, but players may still self-host for that day. As long as all scores are recorded in the appropriate UDisc league event, they will be counted and posted to DGS within 48 hours. (Sorry, we cannot accept paper cards, screenshots of UDisc casual rounds etc. All players are responsible for ensuring their own score is properly recorded). In addition, one player self-host must collect the $1 per player course fee and deposit in the drop slot with list of players at the conclusion of the round, using the envelope and form available in the scorecard mailbox.

There will NOT be an official ace pot for this session, but players are strongly encouraged to honor the "51 Club" tradition of offering a small cash gift to anyone who aces during the league. (We suggest $5 if they're on your card, $1 from everyone else that day, but this is of course up to the individual).

Any players who wish to donate a CTP prize are welcomed to choose their hole and offer the prize, but must bring their own flag/marker and retrieve it after the round. (League host will not be coordinating CTPs for the winter session).

Handicap will be calculated based on your average scores this session: 100% of your strokes over par OR 50% of your strokes under par. These will be updated weekly on Disc Golf Scene and posted on the noticeboard near the first tee at Johnson. Everyone who played at least one round during the fall session will have their calculated handicap applied to the first round of the winter session. Anyone without a handicap established must play scratch their first week. There will not be a "free to establish" round for this session.

(Example: If your average for the session is +10 (64) and you shoot a +8 (62) round, your score would be adjusted to -2 (52) that round. However if your average is -6 (48) and you shoot at even (54) round, your score will be adjusted to +3 (57) for the round.)

Point series is tracked BEFORE handicaps are applied at 3 participation points, plus 1 point for each player you beat in a round. All players will earn a minimum of 5 points per round played.

Payout scheduled based on number of players each week. Pays are "up to" the listed amount until the full pot is paid out:

1st Place: $20 (at 10 players)
2nd Place: $10 (at 15 players)
3rd Place: $6 (at 18 players)
4th Place: $4 (at 20 players)
5th Place and up: $2 (at >20 players)
