Winter Session is Complete!

With todays round in the books, that completes our Winter Session! Congratulations to Casey Gardner, our points winner! Casey will be receiving a handmade plaque to commemorate the win! A huge thank you to all 40 of you who showed up to play at least one round! There were 97 total rounds recorded this session, which means $97 was raised to help maintain and improve our course! January 23rd - LEAGUE CANCELLED

Due to the winter weather advisor and course conditions, we will NOT be having a league day today. The course is still deeply snow covered, with more snow on the way. I am also asking that nobody "self-host" this week, as we currently under a winter weather advisory and wouldn't condone unnecessary travel today. Everyone stay warm and safe, and if conditions are better, we will resume play next week!

January 15th - Payout Error

Just wanted to inform everyone that I made a small error in the payouts today - my apologies. While calculating handicaps, I gave Luke McNeil a score of 48 (tied for 3rd) while he should have been 43 (tied for 1st). As a result, Greg, Pat, and Jamie all got a slight bonus in their payouts today! (Scores have been posted to leaderboard correctly; payouts are listed on the leaderboard as they were awarded). Just wanted to inform everyone that I made a small error in the payouts today - my apologies. While calculating handicaps, I gave Luke McNeil a score of 48 (tied for 3rd) while he should have been 43 (tied for 1st). As a result, Greg, Pat, and Jamie all got a slight bonus in their payouts today! (Scores have been posted to leaderboard correctly; payouts are listed on the leaderboard as they were awarded). Since Luke was paid $3 for the "third place tie" (that actually was a fourth place tie), I owe Luke $12. Everyone else, enjoy your bonuses! Sorry for any inconveniences! League Players - Early Reg for Pat's Birthday Bash

Attention all Sunday Funday players: If you've played at least TWO rounds in either the FALL or WINTER session of JUMC Sunday Fundays, you will be eligible for early registration for Pat's Birdie Bonanza Birthday Bash! Registration opens for all players February 19th @ 6:50pm EST, but Sunday Funday-ers will be able to register starting on February 1st! You will be asked for a code for early entry, which will be given to eligible players upon request from League Director. If you're eligible, send a message to Justin through Disc Golf Scene messages, or ask at any league event!

2022 !!

Thank you to all who braved the weather for our first round of the new year ! It was a cold wet round but that being said a lot of fun and good times were abound. Happy New Year to all !

19 Dec 2021 - Self Host Round

Today will be a self hosted round. I will try to be at the course around 12:30 to help facilitate, but I will not be playing today. Updated handicap list is already posted on the notice board (near first tee, side of garage), and the form and deposit envelope is in the scorecard mailbox in case I don't make it at all. Sunday December 26th - Disc Exchange!

Don't forget that at our league day on December 26th, we will be doing a disc golf exchange - white elephant style! If you want to take part, please bring a new or gently used unwrapped disc golf disc (inked and field tested is fine, but please no beat up base plastic). We will put all the discs on a table, and after the round the LAST place person will select FIRST which disc they'd like to take home, followed by the next to last, etc. Why last first? Because when it is your turn, you ... more

Don't forget that at our league day on December 26th, we will be doing a disc golf exchange - white elephant style! We will put all the discs on a table, and after the round the LAST place person will select FIRST which disc they'd like to take home, followed by the next to last, etc. Why last first? Because when it is your turn, you may STEAL a disc from another player. If you disc is stolen, you then have the option to choose another from the table OR steal a disc yourself from another player! HOWEVER, you cannot steal back the disc that was just stolen from you and EACH DISC can only be stolen TWICE! Join in the festive fun! (Note: You do not have to take part in the exchange to play the league - it is entirely optional, but highly encouraged!)

Also, if you would like to participate but don't have any extra discs of your own to offer up, a very limited number MAY be available to purchase for $10 before the league, but they will be wrapped mystery discs and cannot be unwrapped until the end of the disc exchange!
