Delafield Discers Spring 2015

No rain tonight!!!

We are back on for Week #2 of Delafield Discers. We will head out on the course at 6:00 PM so please be a few minutes early!!!!!! If we see attendance growing and a crowded course when we start, I may have to allow some groups to start early again this year but don't want to do that if I don't have to because it takes away from the atmosphere of league.

League Is Cancelled for tonight 4/9

This is the first time I have ever called league in advance but I feel with the amount of rain we had, the course conditions will be terrible, and we will only compound the issue by making a mess out there today so I have decided with more rain coming that it is best that we cancel this week. I will extend the league by 1 week so that we can still get 10 full weeks in hopefully. Tell everyone you know!

Scores and Ace Pool

The scores may look skewed from what you actually shot tonight but I wanted to try to come up with a score that wasn't affected by the fact that we only played 16 holes . . . and the only hole we didn't play is actually one of the top 2 easiest holes on the course. I gave Open and Advanced 1 birdie and one par, Intermediate and Recreational were given 2 pars and Women, Girls, and Juniors were given two bogeys to help produce a normal round score.

Also as with last year . . . this league requires that we have separate ace pools because the Red tees are so much more likely to be aced and some divisions don't even play them, some play one of each, and some play two rounds of red. I will keep track by division and ace pools will be paid out by division. The $ showing in the ace pool for this league is actually all of the Ace Pool money still available.
