Oh yeah, while I was playing today a group of like 7 kids walked onto the course at a weird spot saying they wernt gonna pay to play... ran into a metropark cop, told him about it, & got em kicked off the course. Its $2, if you can't pay it then don't come. That's not fair for everyone else, ya lil ****s.

Good turn out today. 54 players. Way to go Mark E, Jeff B, Nate P and Tim P (-9). Ace pool soaring up there again, $747. Holes 1 thru 17 are in on the "Black Locust". The rest should be in mid-week (per the park). Pay to play will start then. All looks great, cait wait to play the whole thing. If you dont see your scores, send me your email so I can link to your profile. I also have a ton of discs for sale for the club which I will post to my pictures (some are already there), Alot of new plastic cheep. Thanks for all that came out. See you next week.

It's called laziness and for whatever reason they are as stubborn as napoleon in not letting us help. Their are how many people in our league, 100+ i think, split us up with a little direction a park worker at every hole and it could be done in hours. But, in the parks defense Mr. Brutis, while not representing the majority, casts a shadow on the true nature of disc golfers in general and perpetuates the common stereotype that we are drunk, high, or lazy people with no respect for the park ... more

Their are how many people in our league, 100+ i think, split us up with a little direction a park worker at every hole and it could be done in hours. But, in the parks defense Mr. Brutis, while not representing the majority, casts a shadow on the true nature of disc golfers in general and perpetuates the common stereotype that we are drunk, high, or lazy people with no respect for the park or the course. While at times that may represent myself and others in one two maybe even three ways it is the last way in which we drift from that stereotype. Surly everyone on this social network will agree that the condition of the park and in turn our course is very important. I long for days when i can play a round without having to pick up pieces of glass off the tee pads. For a parking lot thats not full of beach goers. And lastly for a course full of players that are their to play golf not to scribble their **** wherever they see fit. What i fail to realize is why the park looks at the condition of the course and has no urgency to finish the new one. The park and I are on the same level, we want the riffraff gone and in my opinion pay-to-play is the quickest solution. Why the park continues to make us drag their limp bodies through the sand by constantly nagging them instead of just getting the job done is beyond me. Maybe they are not interested in making money this summer? Maybe I am tired of caring?

I heard that the new courses is never gonna open up. Ha-ha. Sure seems that way. It was supposed to open soooo long ago.

Oh goodness, that's all we need is some broke & missing signs before the course opens up. On a happier note, I noticed they added nice dirt & gravel around some of the new pads. Hoping to see some woodchips so the pads don't get dusty.

& now there's writing on pretty much all of them... even a few detailed weens. The park really should've waited till the last day to put em up. I almost want to bring some paint & cover the stuff up.
