Please keep in mind that I am coming from Clarkston, so if there is anyone out that way besides Walker, Hamel, Bauman that can get out there early your help is greatly appreciated. Blues are a **** to shovel by yourself.

Today would be the best day to hit the pads at bends.snow is kinda wet,slushy.supposed to get colder this and it will freeze solid if we dont get it.ill b workin all day so i cant.king stony?bends treated u well last time.....haha.

Hey everyone,
As many of you know I am a PE teacher and teach the sport of disc golf to my students. I teach throwing styles, rules, have contests and set up a 5-6 hole course on our baseball and football fields. I am always looking and am in need of plastic if anyone has any to donate. I give away a lot of plastic each semester and basically save enough to teach the following semester in hopes of getting more donations for giveaways. Due to the Turn up the heat tournament at Firefighters on 1/30(two Saturdays from now) we will not be holding BSD that Saturday. However, I am considering moving BSD to Sunday of that week 1/31. Again, this is just an idea. Thoughts, concerns, objections....?

We might move the Turn Up the Heat event start time to 10 am depending on the snowfall the next two weeks. If that is the case, BOBIS can be scheduled at Firefighters on the 23rd and people who want to play in both events will be able to.

Remember that This Saturday is the last day to get a Bobis membership. If you can not attend I suggest you send $10 with someone that will be there to sign you up. 44 members currently = $440 added to the Bobis Ace Race on April 2nd. Plus if there is a Super Pool roll over you will be eligible for that added cash as well. I'll see everyone at Firefighters this Saturday, the weather looks like it could be April weather. Bobis!

Merry Christmas to the discing world! I will be at stony at 9:45 for anyone wanting to play a round on the green course before bobis tomorrow. Prolly some $5 Shenanigans. I'm also throwing a disc or two in my bag that maybe people want to do a redisc after bobis that is maybe some sort of "trade" format. Might be fun to trade good discs that you don't throw for one that you do. Anyone else who wants to bring something good to trade!

Re-disc players would not be ready by 1pm to play Bobis. 18 holes and lunch take us past 1pm. My vote is that if we go with both that the Re-disc starts earlier than 10am. Just my thoughts. Or, I could incorporate Bobis and Re-disc. All players bring a new disc to throw in the pile, all discs will be screened for quality assurance.

We could do both...first round as advertised with 10$ buy in, "re-disc" in effect beginning at 10:00, and even execute the sliding ace pool throw off if none are hit (assuming we play longs it's less common), and probably still be good to start bobis at 1:00. One round greens, one blue....Does anyone know if anyone from MCCG is planning on taking the "re-disc"? John or Chris or anyone?

I'll post here and in the redisc forum...what should we do next week? Bobis and the tourney are scheduled to be played on that day. They can both happen, back to back, but we should figure out which one, or both, people will go to. If it looks like nobody is going to show for one or the other, maybe we just get everybody to show for the same event, and ditch the other?
