Everyone played pretty casually for the first few years, mostly at Bronte Creek and Brampton. There was no real structure to the BBFA other than the Crawford Classic (named after the Bull first base coach) which started in 2009 and featured a beer every 3 holes for 36 holes at Bronte. Masters won in 2009/2011. Kip in 2010 and 2012.
In winter of 2011, the BBFA members started to take disc golf a little more seriously starting to play in local clubs and tournaments. Kip and Masters have had pretty good sucess at the Amateur level and more members are starting to play outside of the BBFA. Nevertheless, in homage to the early origins -- no matter how serious it all gets taken (and to the chagrin on most) the F in BBFA still stands for Frolf!
The BBFA bag tags were established in 2013 and the league has expanded to non-Bulls. Anyone is welcome.
