Jeremy Boyd Apr 12, 2022 Just FYI Joe, the league series don't have to be 10 rounds, I believe 6 is the minimum for a series.
Joe Caissie Apr 12, 2022 Yeah, true. I just like to get our $25-worth out of the PDGA sanctioning fee. I'm cheap like that.

About this league

Please read! Everyone following the rules below will make things run much more smoothly. I've tried to put the rules in order of importance:

1. $8 for ADGA members, $11 for non-members. Pay (at)joseph-caissie on Venmo, or my email is [email redacted] for Paypal. Use "Friends and Family" so that neither of us has to pay a fee.

2. Let me know you're coming by the Friday evening before the round, if you can. I may be able to get latecomers in on Saturday morning, but no guarantees. If you're signing up late, please shoot me a text to confirm that I noticed your Paypal or Venmo payment. If you sign up earlier, I may be able to give you the starting hole that you want.

3. Rounds start when they start! We tee off at 11am, and be there by 10:45 so you can get out to your hole assignment! It's cold out there and making people stand around waiting to start the round is inconsiderate.

4. No rage-quits! It might be snowy, you might have lost 3 discs, tough! We are playing PDGA sanctioned rounds, and so if you walk away mid-round, I will have to give you an 888, which is really bad for your rating. Don't put me in that position!

5. We're using live-scoring; password is "Goon". (It was "Davis" but I wasn't allowed to do that one again, apparently.)

6. Three pools - under 800 rating is C pool, 800-899 is B pool, and 900+ is A pool. Let me know if you want to move up a pool and play with bigger fish than your rating dictates. If you don't have a PDGA rating, let me know what you typically shoot on a local course and we can give you to the right pool.

7. $5.50 of each entry fee goes to payouts, $0.50 to the PDGA, $1 (or $4 for non-members) goes to the ADGA, and $1 goes to the Ace Pot.

8. I want to keep a healthy ace pot going for these leagues, so we'll be paying out the whole thing when it's under $50, $50 when it's under $100, and 50% of the pot when it's over $100. Anything left at the end of the 10-week league will roll over to the next league.

9. Do your part to keep teepads clean this winter. If there's fresh snow, please take a broom with you and brush pads off rather than smashing it down into the pad when you play casual rounds. Even better, take a shovel and clear out the area surrounding the pad. Boydo did a ton of work last year to keep the pads clean and dry all winter; we can all pitch in and do that this year.

10. Have fun!
