This Thursday is the ctp challenge. No putting necessary.
It is an unsanctioned event. We will be playing from the junior pads and turf where jr share those pads. Each hole will be worth $30 and there will be a $100 ace bounty, which will be split if there are multiple aces. This is for anyone that has bought in throughout the year. Free to those who have already bought in this year. If you have not bought in and wish to participate it is a $10 buy in which will roll over for next year.

I will have all the flags out there before we start. We can do two or three large groups all must start on hole 1. I'll play in the last group to collect all the flags.

We will have some snacks and drinks. If you want to bring your own alcoholic beverage feel free.

I may or may not have some cheap discs for sale to raise money for the course too but I have to see what I have available first.

Update for next week 10/10

Next week October 10th tee off promptly 5pm but we will be at lakeshore instead. They have a cross country event at Northridge so we wouldn't be able to start at 5 if we kept it there.
If you plan on shopping at the throw shop, which I suggest you check out some of their inventory cause they just had some big restocks, they close at 4pm.

The week after that, on the 17th, we will be back at Northridge for our final sanctioned week. Also tee at 5pm. The following Thursday after that, ... more

But if you haven't already, make sure you buy in to the ace pool with the last two weeks remaining to qualify for this event.

Also flex is the code for Saturdays at Northridge if you don't have a tourney lined up and looking to get in a round. 3 to a card minimum. I'll post that layout tomorrow.

News about scoring

Moving forward (only 5 weeks left) I was given notice of a complaint, and no I'm not going to out anyone. Everyone on a card needs to keep score. This is a pdga rule we've been pretty relaxed about but it's really not a big deal anyway. "Ace" is the code to log in when you go to pdga com / score. I can help anyone with log in if need be.

Important about tonight Sept 12th

I was given last minute notice that there's a sold out concert at Northridge tonight so parking will be tight. We can still play but I want everyone to start on old 1 new 10 to play around the front of the building first because the concert isn't until 7. I'll also allow people to start early like 5pm if they have a card. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Fall league news

Fall league will be 6 weeks. From Sept 12 to Oct 17.
Longs and shorts are both on the same disc golf scene page for this session.

You'll be able to pick whichever layout you want when adding yourself and pdga next week. This time you can have shorts and longs play on the same card with no problems as you can select either short or long.

Same login code for both longs and shorts will be "ace".

PLEASE READ. UPDATE TO 4TH JULY FLEX LAYOUT

Being that next Thursday is the 4th of July, we will be doing a flex round. Everyone will be playing temp 7 (new 16) and long 12 (new 3).

***Pad is being moved from 10 today, so no more 10. We will be doing the new hole 1 on the other side of the practice basket. It will play to old 10 basket. Hole 11 will be hole 2, hole 12 will be 13 and so on. I will get stickers on ask the tee signs today and get everything updated to make this transition smooth. ***

I'll have more time after this week to move some baskets around. We will start right back up as normal the following week. No payouts, 50/50 or ace pool for the 4th. Just $1 to play, I don't need to collect it, just have your 3 or 4 players and go. Work out any side bets on the side you wish.

This is the last week to try to improve on your most points over rating for this league session. I have 2 Berths to give out for that.

Tiebreaker goes to the person with the most rounds played, if that is the same, it will be hottest round in this session.

Flex start

Flex start tonight. Rating only, no payouts or 50/50 or ace pool. With the bad thunderstorms coming around 7 this is the only solution I can think of instead of canceling.
No need to see me for the $1. Just get your card and go ahead and play if you can get there early. You can always work out any side bets with your card mates.

Hope you understand. It's not easy to predict michigan weather.
