It's going to be a hot one so I didn't want to make things too crazy this week. Make sure to bring water.

Also, there will be about 15 discs turned in from the previous tournament around 4pm Thursday to the front desk. Thanks to Nick for doing that.

Ratings notice

It's come to my attention by some players that week be unnamed that per pdga guidelines that players above 900 no longer qualify for ma3. https://www.pdga.com/divisions if you scroll down to amateur divisions you'll see the ratings cap. So moving forward you'll have to move up to ma2 which is the longs or if eligible, I've just now created an MA40 division which doesn't have a ratings requirement. Sorry for my confusion on this.

Ya I would imagine league payouts are treated differently than tournament payouts

Vincent Cocciolone   May 19, 2023 at 12:58am

I see a discrepancy. A players “league average rating” shown on the scorecards is different than their current actual PDGA rating.

Brian Sweet   May 19, 2023 at 1:38am

I think it locks the players rating in at the start of the session. So it will show say a 930 rating for all 10 weeks even if the player plays tournaments in between and has a ratings fluctuation.

Live scoring will have all notes on o.b and relief. If there is standing water in the middle of the triple mando, you can take casual relief backwards or directly sideways to stand on bridge. No strokes added.
