NCDGC Spring Summer Bag Tag Rules
This league is open to members of the Newton County Disc Golf Club only. Each player will receive a tag at a kick off round on Sunday January 29th. The scheduled league rounds will sign in on scheduled Sundays between 1:30 and 2:00 with tee off at 2:00 weather permitting. If the weather is too bad , additional dates will be added. Cash only for the Tag League as all prizes will be in cash. 100% of entry fees will be paid out in finals!
Rules are as follows!
1. Must be a member of NCDGC to participate in competition tag league. Registration for the club is on Disc Golf Scene.
2. The cost of the spring/summer competition tag league is a 1 time $20 fee in cash due to all prizes being in cash. There will be a raffle with all proceeds going to Bag Tag league pot to increase prizes.
3. Each player must have a profile on Disc Golf Scene so we can keep up with league scores, tag holders, and number of qualifying rounds played.
4. Registration for spring/summer competition tag league closes February 26th at 2:00 no exceptions.
5. Kick off round is January 29th to start the order of tags. If you are not able to attend, you will get tags in remaining numerical order.
6. There are 15 scheduled tag rounds that will be on Sundays at 2:00 sharp no late entries weather permitting always short tee pads.
7. Each player must participate in at least 7 scheduled rounds to qualify to participate in finals.
8. Each scheduled round will be selected by random draw using playing cards even if only participating in the side action.
9. Tags are always in play even at tournaments, or when one player challenges another.
10. If a player must leave during a round scheduled or challenged, they will have to take a higher numbered tag with no exceptions. You know why.
11. In the case of a tie, tags remain where they were at the beginning of the round.
12. Please do not lose your tag as the replacements are expensive and at your cost to replace.
13. Ladies and juniors 14 and under will receive -3.5 strokes.
14. The finals will be held on Sunday May 21st for any player who at least 7 scheduled rounds. It will be match play in a seeded bracket. Some of the top finisher will get a by to the second round. The payouts start at the second round and payoutss will be determined by the amount of players that are eligible to participate.
15. Optional side action at each scheduled round again this is OPTIONAL and any member even if they are not participating in competition tag league can participate in the side action. Can only win in side action if you are in the side action. Cash only due to cash prizes paid out at each round!

$2 to Ace pool for scheduled rounds only rolls over to payout at Finals if no Aces.
Ladies and juniors 14 and under receive 3.5 strokes.
