Final Glow Night Cancelled

Due to a lack of turnout, the final Glow League Night planned for 9/23 has been cancelled. We have only been getting on average 6 players a night and it doesn't make sense to purchase supplies, set up, and clean up with this kind of showing.

Thanks to those who did come out for the first three nights and we will reassess this for the next season to see if we can find a way to increase interest and get more people out there.

League Night 3 is tonight!!

Night 3 of 4 is tonight with a planned 8:30 start. Chris will be running the show in my absence, but I will make sure everything is set up and good to go. Layout will stay the same as the last week, with holes 1-5 and 8-14 in play.

League Night 3 is this coming Friday!!

The 3rd of our 4 Glow League Nights is upon is this coming Friday with a 8:30 PM start time. The same format as the previous night will be used, with holes 1-5 and 8-14 for a 12 hole layout played twice through for 24 total holes.

I will not be able to play this week but will be out there to set-up. If anybody can take the lead after that, I'd greatly appreciate it. I will provide scorecards and payout amounts to make it as easy as possible. I will be out there around 6:45 or 7 to set up and would appreciate help as well if anybody is free and able

League Night 2 is in the books!!

8 on hand on a perfect night out on Pine Lake for our second Glow night of the season!!! We decided upon a Random Draw A/B doubles round for the format on the evening, with Jim Catley and Larry Bright Jr. throwing an impressive -11 and securing the win by 5 strokes over Chris Jackson and Kevin M who came in at 6 under. Quite a few near aces were seen and heard on the Red Tee only layout, playing holes 1-5 and 8-14. Expect this layout to stay the same for the next session on August 26th. Format will be decided upon by the group as well.

Friday Night Glow this week!!!

We are back for our next Glow League night this coming Friday with a 9 PM start time. The Schedule does currently show as "Inactive," but that's due to the time between active league results being posted. Rest assured...we are still on and the forecast looks clear for the evening.

As a reminder, we are cash league. PayPal can also be accepted if necessary. But the goal is to payout after each league night. Entry remains $10, with a $1 optional Ace Fund buy in. If no Ace i ... more

The Layout for this league night will be slightly different from the first night. Layout is below and will includes two loops of 12 holes for 24 total holes:

Next Glow League night is 8/5/22!!

It was just pointed out that the next League night was listed as Sunday 8/7/22. Not sure why that's what I put, but it will be on Friday 8/5/22 with a 9 PM start.

LEAGUE SCHEDULE ADJUSTED!!!

Please note that the schedule has been changed with Week 2 being pushed up one week to Augst 7th. To run a Glow event the night before I play and run Punderized RWB Challenge is probably not the best idea lol. So the schedule has been adjusted for this change and we will still keep the 9 PM start time.

First League Night is in the Books!

5 on hand for our first night where we somehow were granted a 4 hour window to get in our rounds and stay completely dry!!! Larry Bright Jr. manages an under par round for the win going -1 on the night!! Hunter Palshook grabs second and last cash going +3.

For our next league night, the layout may be expanded to include some additional holes, including 4, 5, 6A, and 8. Format (singles, doubles, etc.) is yet to be determined. Hopefully conditions are better and we get a better turnout.

Glow kicks off tonight!

We are good to go tonight for our first Glow League of 2022!!! The plan is to play 2 rounds of the 13 hole layout for 26 total holes. There is a chance for some storms, so this may change if the weather dictates. But the goal will be to get all 26 in. So be prepared for the chance of rain!!!

I will be out at the course around 7 to set up. If anybody is free and wants to lend a hand. I could use some help putting the glow sticks on the tees and baskets and attaching the basket lights. Just stop out and find me if you want to assist.

First League Night This Coming Friday!!!

The first of four "monthly" league night is this coming Friday, July 1st!!

Layout is tentative based on course conditions each night. If rain or mud are an issue, a shorter layout will be played to ensure safety to all. But each night, a minimum of the 13 holes listed in the "About" section will be played as part of league with optional play after for those interested.

Layout is tentative based on course conditions each night. If rain or mud are an issue, a shorter layout will be played to ensure safety to all. But each night, a minimum of the 13 holes listed in the "About" section will be played as part of league with optional play after for those interested.

For this coming week, the plan is to play 2 rounds of 13 for a 26 hole layout. The weather will be the deciding factor if we do 1 or 2 rounds as part of league. These dates have been approved by the park manager, so we must use them or lose them. So regardless unless conditions are dangerous, a minimum of 13 holes as mentioned above will be played.

There is also generally only one division of play. If turnout dictates otherwise, we will change that. But we are playing the shortest layout in the dark. It's anybody's game to win or lose each week.

Baskets will have the MVP basket lights zip tied to the top of each cage. There will also be glow sticks around the baskets and at each tee area. Glow discs are encouraged. But glow tape is permitted, and I also have a very small amount for those who may need it. Lighting (charging) of discs will be permitted. But lights ARE NOT to be used to look down fairways, find discs, etc. unless completely necessary for safety reasons. This is to allow no cheating and also to keep people's sight with their "natural" night vision and not needing to be repeatedly adjusting to the dark conditions.
