Thanks for the updates! Theoretically, how would any ties be handled?
Points are all updated through 9/26 league. Last league tonight on 10/3. If I get those scores before the Finale on Saturday 10/8 I will post them so people know the final standings.
Jared Carr hit an ace last week on Hole 13! He was in the regular ace pool and will collect $250.
Reminder, tee off at 5:45 the last two weeks.
Ended up canceling league for possibly the first time ever due to weather. Several limbs blew down in the storm that rolled through from 6-6:30, and the forecast was for continued lightning.
Those that paid, we'll carry over your entry to Sept 12.
It actually turned out to be pretty pleasant after 6:30. Figures.
If anyone that did stick around would like their round recorded on DGS take a picture of your card and email ([email redacted]) or text me (517.775.0801) and I will try and upload them with no points, no handicap, no wins, nothing!
There will be no league on Labor Day! Enjoy the holiday.
League starts at 5:45 after Labor Day.
It will get dark for the last few holes in the final weeks. Feel free to bring glow discs, LED lights, basket lights, and flashlights to help find your discs. Be careful not to shine flashlights in a distracting way or in the eyes of people on other holes.
Justin Hundich hit an Ace on hole 16 two weeks ago.
Then Alec Kennedy hit hole 7 last week.
Congrats fellas!
Averaging about 75 players a week lately.
Ryan Herzog has been hot. Shooting 41 (-13) the last two weeks. Last week included a string of 11 birdies in a row (holes 8-18). Nice!
No aces since week 8. The regular pool has reach $250 again and the super pool and Mega pool will also provide nice payouts.
82 Players last Monday. Once again, the rain held off for us and we had a very nice night for disc golf.
Ryan Herzog carded the hot round with a 43. He also helped himself to an ace on hole 13!
Ryan didn't have the only ace however, as Adam Mitchell hit one on hole 14! Congrats to both. Both names were on the regular ace pool list, and they'll split the $477.
55 players gave it a go this week, despite the forecast for rain. They were rewarded with a beautiful and calm evening for disc golf.
The best score of the night came from the Amateur ranks, as Jared Carr shot a 45. Nice round Jared!
No aces this week. Still just one on the year so far. A nice reward is building for the next hole in one!
91 Players last Monday. Calm conditions produced some good scores, but no aces. Herzog's 43 was the hot round of the night.
No League on Memorial Day. See you next week.
76 Players on Monday Night. Brad Frase had the hot round again, with a 45.
No Aces Last Week.
93 Players for week 4. Brade Frase shot the hot round with a 46.
No aces last week.
Starting week 5, guests ('non-members') will need to pay the extra dollar/week registration fee. Pros must be a member to be eligible for the hot round bonus cash. You will also need to be a member to get into the Super and Mega Ace Pools. Sign up for membership with John Minicuci ... he parks by 18 basket every week.
75 players last week.
Don Richard got the first ace of the year on hole 8! His name was on the $1 ace pool list, so he will collect $250. Congrats Don!
45 was the best score in the Pros, but Greg Golias posted a 42! Nice round Greg.
71 Players made it out in week 2. Much nicer weather, though the course is still a bit sloppy.
Buban and Toggweiler both shot 45 to lead the scoring this week.
No aces.
Takes a little time. I usually enter the scores on my sheet on the weekend. Then send it to Rob who needs a couple of days to get it on the scene.
I also to the wrong set of keys with me last week, so I couldn't post them in the park bulleting board.
27 players made it out to play Monday.
I've been playing in this league for 25 years, and this is the first time we have played with an inch of snow on the ground.
We added $23 to the ace pool which now stands at $267.
The regular ace pool was hit by Mike Meinke at the Finale.
Thanks all for another great year!
