To make bag tags more fun and easier for everyone to understand, we have updated the rules and made a few changes. For a full list of updated rules, please read the About section. Here is a quick summary of the major changes:
- No 10 Spot Limit: anyone can challenge for any tag.
- Pending Challenges: If you have a pending challenge with someone, and either of you decide to challenge someone else or take another challenge, the original pending challenge will be cancelled. This will allow f ...

When we got tired of listening to people bitch about pieces of plastic with numbers on them. Marc and Zac, the other 2 people helping manage the league, and myself, discussed the changes, and this is what we came up with. If it shuts up the few individuals that always have a problem with something, ... more
No I get it, I applaud you for handling a few people complaints in such a professional manner.
Lolololol. Its a piece of plastic. Whats with the drama lately? Obviously there is going to be people that dont like the rules.... its ok greg. You will never make everyone happy and you will always have a few complainers.... j

[1] Players must update the club with the results of each challenge, or any pending challenge within 24 hours. It is preferred to post on the NWDC Bag Tag page on DiscGolfScene or email [email redacted]. Our Facebook page, personal phones or telling us in person are also acceptable.
And please don't forget - bag tags are meant to be fun. Rules are designed for structure and fairness.
Kyle Mihatsch has dropped out and is no longer available for challenges this year. The fees collected for the tag will still go towards payouts & prizes.
Yes. He's still in possession of the tag, but has decided not to play anymore. If he chooses to relinquish the tag or play again, we'll keep everyone updated.
Due to someone deleting themselves and their tag from the bag tag page, the previous matches may appear with incorrect tags, dates, etc. We are working on getting it fixed as soon as possible. Please double check to make sure you currently have the correct tag listed next to your name.
*** Each bag tag participant must complete a minimum of 20 challenges in order to be eligible for ANY bag tag prizes. ***
This one should be a no-brainer, as tags are be carried and visible at all times.
*** If a bag tag participant fails to bring their tag to a challenge or mandatory event, they will automatically receive the worst tag possible from the tags available at said challenge/event
Bag tags will be live as of 4/20/16. Please post all challenges here, or send to [email redacted]
***Rules changes for 2016***
- All members must reside within 90 minutes of Traverse City, MI.
- Challenge timeframe reduced to 2 attempts within 1 week or challenge is void.
- There will be no division protection at tournaments.
- Once a challenge has been completed, you can only re-challenge that person for the same tag numbers once in the same week
- Cash prize for person with the most completed challenges
I think we need a rule change.. Any tag # can play any other tag # it's only fair
No. People will only want to challenge for top tags. If you want to do a group challenge, and the top tag player involved wants to invite a better tag within 10, that's fine - but they don't have to do that challenge if they don't want. (Example: 22 can challenge 18, then 18 can ask 9 if they want to join, but it's up to 9 if they want to play in that challenge or not)
The whole point of the 10 spot rule is so that you have to work your way to the top, and not wait until the last couple weeks to try and place in the top tags for Bag Tag Finals. Also, it will keep people more active and will give them more challenges to become eligible for prizes.
I still need to find out who has 2 tags cuz one is mine
I think Charlie or Chris has yours. I believe one of them was supposed to give it to you after the Manton tourney
must be Charlie
Yea, he's got it
