Back at Willow....8/3/2013

Be back at Willow this Saturday 8/3/2013 at 12:00.....we have been traveling around quite a bit lately due to Willow being very wet......the course has dried out for the most part and is now user friendly again....we will start the Summer/Fall Season 2013 by playing the rotation of different formats for each week which includes short tees,then mixed odds,then mixed evens,then longs...this makes for a more challenging round.....Registration is in the paved parking lot by the picnic area $10.00 a ... more

Went to Independence Lake today and shot with Indy Dubs Saturday League and combined ace pools and Mike Stratford aced hole B for $122.00 from our ace pool and $168.00 from the Indy league for a total of $290.00 nice...............Congrats way to go......ace pool is at $122.00 next week.

Next weeks round will be a double cash round which means there will be no CTP`S just cash payouts,the buy in will be $10.00 + $2.00 ace pool $12.00 all in......we will be shooting Willow shorts at 12:00 some come out and get some double cash........

Going to Vienna Double Points

Heading down to Vienna for Double Points this Saturday 7/14/13 at 1:00pm to grab some double points and possibly pop a huge $400.00 + ace pool which would pay half and also bring our ace pool which is $144.00 + which pays half.......come on down and enjoy a great course and good times .......they will be serving up Bacon Cheddar Cheeseburgers and Kielbasa for eats between rounds for $3.00.Hope to see everyone there.

Singles Tourney in August????????

Was throwing around the idea of having a low buy in tourney for $10.00,also have an optional $5.00 dollar ace pool 100% payout if no one hits an ace top three CTP to per said hole split the pot,and also 5 $1.00 CTP`S 100% payout for a total of $20.00 ALL IN all divisions.Would like to install 6 extra holes if some people could lend their baskets out for the day.The tourney would consist of 4 divisions AM 3,AM 2,and the other divisions would be AM 1 and OPEN.Would be on the honors system so play ... more

Moving reg

Starting this Saturday, we will be moving reg to the other parking lot behind hole 17. This will give us more space for warming up, going out onto the course an extra tables for everyone to sit a. Pass this along to anyone who might not check the scene.

Due to the mosquitoes we are traveling to Vienna Park in Temperance.League starts at 1:00pm.Bringing along our ace pool which is $273.00 and theirs is $278.00.Tara and Tim who usually run the league are going to be out of town.They have given the league info to Adam Schneider who I have spoken to and he said it would be okay to combine the leagues for this Saturday May 25th at 1pm.It will be $5.00 to play plus $2.00 for our ace pool and $1.00 for their ace pool.Sorry about the short notice but ... more

Shorts......change partner every 6 holes

Would like to try a different format,at the start of the round draw partners as normal,after 6 holes flip for a different partner in the group of 4 shoot 6 holes flip again etc........possible you could have the same partner the whole way but unlikely........let me know what everyone thinks.Can only try this if we get 8,12,16,20,24 people just a thought........

Some Feedback

Just wanted to get some opinions on some different formats for league play.
1)Play a normal league round where instead of taking best shot on a doubles team you would take the worst shot playing the same format as regular doubles.
2)Play a round where each player would be CALI playing the normal format of 1 extra shot per hole either a drive ,an up shot or putt.
Just an idea trying to get some opinions...........

More Holes Again..........

Going to set up more holes again 5 for sure maybe 6.This time they will be set up in the field by hole 15 and 16.No pads and want to make some tough shots.Going out early around 9:30 or 10:00 to install the extras with Coach.Feel free to come out and give some input on the basket location.
