About this league
UPDATE: We’ll be playing Area 51 on 3/3. We'll be skipping holes 12, 14, and 15 since they area flooded. We'll make up these holes by playing 7, 8, and 9 twice. How this will work out is you'll play 1-9, then go to the tee to play 7, 8, and 9 again, then finish the round skipping, 12, 14 and 15.
Join us for the North to South Flex League Powered by Six Sided Discs. We're going to have a weekly rated flex league running for 8 weeks on every Thursday in January and February (starting 1/6/22 and ending 2/24/22). Each week, you'll need to find whoever you want to include on your card with each card having a minimum of 3 people participating in the league. PDGA divisions will apply.
We'll alternate courses each week between Alum Creek (all players from short tees) and Area 51.
Entry will be $10 per event or you can sign up for all 8 weeks for $70. Included in your entry will be $5 towards payout, $3 towards an ace fund and the remaining will go towards PDGA sanctioning fees, with anything left over donated to the Columbus Flyers Disc Golf Club.
If you prepay for all 8 weeks for $70, there won't be any refunds for time missed as $5 entry will go towards payout each day, and $3 will go towards the ace fund each day as well.
Josh and Brent are going to start the ace pot off with $40 to sweeten the deal if someone hits it. If the ace is not hit, a random drawing will be done for two winners to split the ace fund. Top 45% of each division will be paid out following PDGA structure.
In addition to pay out, if you participate in 4 or more events, you'll get a single raffle ticket for a mystery box provided by Six Sided Discs as well as extra prizes that will be revealed towards the end of the 8-week league. If you participate in 6 events you'll get two raffle entries, and if you participate in all 8 events, you'll get 3 tickets. If you prepay for all 8 weeks, regardless of whether you participate, you'll get 3 tickets for the raffle ran at the end of the 8-week league.
One person from each card will need to message Josh Hipsher 614-795-5778 or Brent Rosen 614-402-4985 at the start of each round with the PDGA numbers of people on your card as well as their divisions being played. At the end of your round, you'll need to message your scores to whoever you initially messaged.
