Getting ramped up for another year of singles on Monday nights. Format this year will be essentially the same as last year -- Open and Recreational divisions, both using handicaps based on performance in previous ERP Monday Night Singles rounds and PDGA rating (or on PDGA ratings only for first-timers who have one, ERP rounds only for Rec division).
Start times will vary from 5:30 (sign in by 5:15) at the beginning and end of the season to 6:15 (sign in by 6 pm) in the middle of the summer. Full schedules posted on DiscGolfScene.com. First week will be March 14. We've shortened the end of the year by two weeks since getting finished in daylight was a problem the last couple of weeks last year -- last week will be October 17.
Buy-in will be the same as last year.
Points will be awarded in each division each week on the same basis as last year -- one point for each player in your division that you beat that week. Points will be tracked on DiscGolfScene.com at the URL for each division below.
Open:
$11 minimum plus $1 ace fund and 3 $1 CTPs -- $15 all in. $10 goes to payout, $1 to RDGC/RRPD.
Open division will play the following rotation of tee pads:
1st and 4th Monday of each month: Black Tees
2nd Monday of each month: Blue Tees
3rd Monday of each month: Red Tees
5th Monday of the month (occurs in March, May, and August this year): TD's choice
In the Open division, the top eight point earners after the next-to-last week (October 10) will be invited to participate in a skins final the last week (October 17), with a Gold Flight of the top four finishers and a Silver Flight of the second four finishers (if anyone declines to participate the next players in order in the standings will be eligible to take their place). Gold Flight skins will be worth a minimum of $6 hole, Silver Flight skins will be worth a minimum of $3 hole. Skins will be paid out of remaining ace fund money, so if the ace fund exceeds $162 on October 14, the value of the skins will be increased accordingly. If there's less than $162 in the ace fund on October 14, the RDGC will make up the difference to meet the guaranteed value.

Out-of-bounds rules for both divisions:
Hole 2: On or across the paved walking path to the west of the basket area on 2 is OB. The creek flowing through Hole 2 is OB if the disc is completely surrounded by water.
Hole 6: On or across the crushed stone walking path behind the basket area is OB.
Hole 10: On or across the paved path between the tennis courts and the stone wall to the left of the fairway is OB.
Hole 11: On or across the paved walking path from the Eves Road parking lot into the park, on the left side of hole 11, is OB. Obviously, across the path between the stone wall and the black tee pad for 11 is not. Any flag or paint line between 11 and 17 is NOT OB. On or across the crushed stone walking path behind the basket area is OB.
Hole 12: Inside the "lake" on 12, denoted by the logs, is OB -- if there's a gap in the logs, a straight line connecting the logs via the shortest path should be considered the OB line.
Hole 14: On or across the crushed stone walking path behind the basket area is OB.
Hole 15: On or across the crushed stone walking path along the left side of the fairway and behind the basket area is OB.
Hole 17: Flag or paint line between 11 and 17 fairways is NOT OB.

I won't be there to run things most weeks this year as I'm back to traveling for work a lot. We'll rotate responsibility among the RDGC board members (Imran, Bradshaw, Lofstrand, and Porter), but would love a few additional volunteers who'd be willing to step in occasionally as well -- PM me if you'd be willing/able to help. I'll still take care of posting scores/points, calculating handicaps, etc.
Looking forward to seeing everyone out there again this year. Let me know if you have any questions or comments.
