More sanctioned singles! Key differences between this league and last league:
Only two locations: Davis Park and Peter's Creek
No handicaps - we will be using A, B, and C pools: below 800 in C pool, 800-899 in B pool, and 900+ in A pool. If you don't have a rating, talk to me. If you want to play in a higher pool than your rating dictates, let me know before the round.
League cost is $8 if you are a member of ADGA or MSDGA, and $11 if you are not. Still worthwhile to join up! There's a half summer worth of doubles, 10 weeks of this league, and probably a fall singles league on weekends, once tournaments end for the season. $5.50 of each entry goes to the payouts, $0.50 goes to the PDGA, $1 to the ace pot, and then $1 or $4 goes to the ADGA, which helps us keep the courses well-maintained and provides things like insurance for our events.
ACE POOL UPDATE:
In order to keep the ace pool hopping, I've decided to cap the payout for any one ace at $150 OR half the ace pool, whichever is greater - the rest will be carried over. If for some reason it gets up to $300, the max payout will be half the ace pool. I'll still list the total money available to be paid out for aces at the top.
Again, it helps a lot if you sign up early, or at least let me know that you're coming. Venmo (at)joseph-caissie, or Paypal [email redacted]. Make sure to choose "friends and family" so neither of us gets charged.
