If you're sexy and you throw it, join Disc Go League!
The summer/fall season will include 10 rounds of singles format disc golf. If we get rained out, the season will extend for makeup rounds to ensure we get the full 10 rounds.
Disc Go League will be Every Thursday Night at Southside Disc Golf Course.
Swamp or no Swamp. Waterproof shoes/boots and a towel are recommended.
Sign-up will be from 4:30-5:15 pm.
If we get enough people to show up then we will split up into 3 Divisions. Be kind in choosing the division that most suits your level of play. Nobody likes a sandbagger :)
1- Novice
2-Recreational
3- Intermediate
4- Advanced
If less than 10 people show up then we will play a skins match.
Tee-off by 5:30 pm
The earlier you can start, the better. The sun goes down earlier and earlier as the season goes on. Players form their own cards. Minimum of 3 and maximum of 5. Can be a mixture of divisions.
Each round will cost $5.00
-$3.00 toward nightly payouts
-$1.00 Disc Go Fee
-$1.00 End Of Year Gift Card
Nightly Payouts:
The winner in EACH Division gets a percentage of the Nightly Payout. The more players in the division, the higher the payout. If there is a tie then there will be a putt-off at the practice basket.
Point System For Season Leaderboard
Each round will earn you points towards the season leaderboard.
• 1-point awarded for just showing up.
• 1-point for each player in your division.
• 2-points awarded for each player you beat in your division each week.
• 1-point awarded for each person you're tied with(For example- 3 players tied for 5th
then each player will receive an additional 2 points)
There will also be 3 volunteer cleanup opportunities throughout the season to earn points towards the season leaderboard. If you show up and help out, you will earn 5 points on the season leaderboard.
The top 3 overall points at the end of the year will be awarded an Infinite Discs Gift Card
1st place -45% of the pot
2nd place -35% of the pot
3rd place - 20% of the pot
SIDE ACTION
$2.00 Ace Pot
-If no one hits an ace, then the pot will be pushed to the next week.
-If multiple people hit an ace, the pot gets split
-If the pot runs into the end of the season, then it will get rolled into End of Year Payout
